So, I'm absentee now am I!!! This after guy ditches the weekend GB on me... hmmmpph!!!Wink [;)]

So my dilema is I really want to finish off some shelf queens before tackling any more new builds.  The shelf queen list includes a pair of Ar 234's one is a B the other is a C with the Julia parasite fighter.  On the other hand, I really want to do the Condor.  Or... Since both Italian and German heavies are allowed I'm thinking maybe we need to include the other axis power as well and since I have the 4 engined Rita G8N1...  Mischief [:-,]

Many moons ago I had plans for converting I think a Airfix kit (Grief maybe ?) into a Junkers 287 . I have long misplace the magazine build up nor can I remember anything about it.  Heck I have not even seen a Vacu kit of that monster in ages.. Anyone know of any ?

Now that would be a cool build for this subgroup...

Ah, great stuff all. The ranks are definately filling up. Sean, im loving your helper. Kinda looks like the missus but im not telling her.

Great choice on the 234C sarge. You didnt think you could fox me on its name did you? If i HAD have got it wrong, i would only have blamed it on our noticeable absentee.

The 1/72 RoG G-24 is a rebox of a 1960's kit from VEB Plasticart of East Germany. The kit decals for the Aero O.Y. seem to match the only photos I can find, or references to, the real deal. it's a real beauty.

The 1/72 RoG Ju-52 will have AM decals from Phantasy Printshop. I'll post piccies soon.

I'm still waiting for the gits at the LHS to get me the 1/72 Italeri SM.81. They've got the Supermodel one, but I'm holding out for the new moldings.

OK,OK I am going to build 2 in order to get the 6 pack prize. A Junkers G-24 float plane in Finnish airline "Aero O.Y." colors, and a Junkers Ju.52 civilian jobby that was the Olympic Torch transport in 1936.

Sir Bondlikins, As im sure your well aware of my strictness when it comes to rules and stuff. Well here they come,

1. Entrants to the Sub-build 'Multi's', Must have more than one engine. Preferably 4, even more preferably 6. Bonus points for most engines.....and UBER Bonus points if your 'Multi' is Italian. (Im going to get some UBER points, YEY)

2. Participants must frequently tell me how ace i am.

errr, thats about it really. Told you i was strict.

Ready, set,  GO!!

Ill get his Aaronliness to post finished Multi's on the front page. As for Reggy stuff, keep it coming.

That's funny!!!

Good idea about the belts. You should paint the foil first if it isn't already. So what is the scoop-dee-doo on the multi- build? Can we start? I just finished one model, and I'm working on finishing the next by Wednesday to keep you honest. Will there be homework? Do we have to eat brats and drink beer? Aaron has already volunteered for that duty! Open the windows!

Wow everything is very quiet everywhere on the forum except for Dave's weekend GB!  Musta drawn all the chatter like a magnet eh?  All his fault as usual!

Nice Jug Guy!  Gloss black?  Love the radial wiring!  Currently digging through the stash gonna being posting some In progress pics later.  A multiengined preferably 4 engined German Aircraft?  Heck why didn't you just ask us to dig up your leprichan pot o gold while you were at it ? LOL!  Crazy fellow! I swear......  We need one of those kiddie leashes to put on him!

I cant believe it. 24 hrs. No way. You are now my official HERO!!!

There was something though. One of those engines had a definate 'Radial' sound to it! Almost japanese. Cant for the life of me figure out why.

As for this GB, im going to be there soon. The Jug is coming along swimmingly. I have tomorrow off only im afraid but i should be able to get a bit more finished on her. The difficult bits are done, id say. That is the gloss black and the engine being wired. Its wierd, but i can hear that JU 290 calling me. Now did the Italians ever operate one? Heres where i am on the Jugger,

I had an idea with the seat belts as well. They come as a decal which looks fairly rubbish when ive tried it before, so i thought id stick them to a piece of lead sheet and when that dries, ill cut it out and see what thats like,

P.S, Aaron, that was a stunning build for 48hrs. Even with the Gremilins attacking the outboard engine. I didnt think that youd finish it in time. Once again you prove that your the meastro. Top marks loony  Thumbs Up

SC - Glad your back and feeling better! You've been a mess lately... in and out of the horsepistol. We're gonna have to figure out a way to cure ya! I've never spent time in a hospital but I know what you mean about being naked and cold... everytime I go to the dentist, I'm told to undress before they put me under. That's just the way it is I guess. Wink [;)]

And don't let Aaron tell you it was the meatballs... I would never send you tainted meat. Plus his shirt says it all... "It's all Dave's fault"! Big Smile [:D]

Aaron - I don't know what's more unbelievable... that fact that you built that monster in a day or the fact that someone took that picture of you and let you post it on the internet. Confused [%-)]

Well, I'm still trudging away with that darn helichopter. I do need to cut into some resin soon so maybe I can pull out the cockpit of the ICR-42 and start chopping on that thing too.

Well I guess it is true that things happen in threes! First Sarge gets sick then you have you little racing accident then I end up in the hospital. Enough of that for now. I probally have some more poking and proding in my future as I was order to have the old stomach looked at literally but I am no longer in horrible pain so that a big plus! That is the third time I have been hospitalised and I can tell you from first hand experience. A hospital is no place to be when you are sick. Anyone that has spent any amount of time in a hospital understands me. I mean they make you take your clothes off and the tempature is like 60 degrees in there. I almost froze to death before the doctor even saw me!

I actually look a bit more like Andy Garcia than Scott Baio or Ralph Machio in person. Mabye I will have Andy Garcia do my next video instead of Scott Baio!

So I do'nt know if you noticed Frank but Guy was taunting you about the upcomming secret Axis multi-engine GB. I do'nt think there are any rules or a start or end date yet. I do'nt know if it is giong to happen but if Guy starts his Piaggio then I will build my old 1/72 MPC Heinkel He-177.

The hospital?  Man, I am glad to hear things are relatively OK, and you are home!  I was wondering why I hadn't seen you recently.  Now quit scaring us!  Hope you are felling better my friend.

BTW, I saw this video on youtube, and thought of you!  Not sure whether you remind me more of Scott Baio or Ralph Macchio.

Quite an impressive feat there Sarge. I am sure you were the driving force whipping everyone along over there. As for me I am hoping all the pain was just an ulcer and will heal over time with the right diet. Man that hurt like heck! It really sucks getting old! Anyway I'm not dead yet so lets build some more models!

As I suspected it had to be Dave's fault for some reason I'm sure. I had to make an unschedueled visit to the hospital due to some severe stomach pain. They fixed me up with some meds and sent me on my way for now. At some point I'm going to have to have the little camera shoved up my nose and down my gullet to see what the source of the problem is. I did manage to leave with everything I arrived with so I'm chuffed about that! Looks like a bland diet for now.

Did the instructions help or had you already figured out were everything went already? Definetly bookmark that page if you do not have it. That websight has the instructions for every Tamiya and Hasegawa kit that is in production right now. Even the color profiles with the paint call out which are great if you are build a similar subject with poor or non-existent call outs like any Trumpeter kit.

Yey Micheals back. Did you get out of the Hozzy with all your bits and bobs still attached? What was up with you? Nothing serious i hope. (You proll told me at some point but i feel my memory is going these days)

I noticed you were gone, in fact i noticed everyone was gone. And guess whos fault it is!! Yup Dave with his Weekend worrier GB. Ive been scuppered as my 2 day window on tuesday and wednesday is now down to 1 day. Overtime has been offered and, seeing as im seriously poor at the moment, i have to take it. Thyre funny like that, if you refuse, they dont offer you any when you really need it.

I cant quite remember where the idea for a multi engined sub section of this GB came from, but im glad it did. If i get into the swing of it, ill probably crack out the Piaggio after the Ju-290. Your 177 sounds spot on. Cracking subject, Grommit.

As for what you win, how about the Adulation of your Illustrious leader. The P-47 BTW is getting real close to paint (NMF) woo hoo.
