When Guy makes his stateside appearance (notice I used the when and not if Guy!) the first thing we are going to do is drive up and kidnap you for sure Jeremy. Heck your missus might even pay us to get rid of you for a couple of days I betBig Smile [:D]. Then were going to the rifle range and shoot of at least a couple of hundred round or until our shoulders can't take it anymore then off to the nearest pub that serves Black&Tans! Make sure you bring bail money and a clean pair of shorts.Big Smile [:D]

Guy, if Crush is driving, do NOT sit in the passenger seat with Jeremy directly behind you!

Bill thats only going to confuse him because he has no idea which side of the car is the passengers side of the car here in the states! We are going to make Jeremy drive back to Conneticut anyway so we can enjoy the meatball sandwiches that Jeremy is going to supply us with. Better yet we'll let Guy drive and see if he can remember to stay on the right hand side of the road! That should make the trip a bit more interesting.

LOL, Sim, I think you could be right. Definately not a mans man like your good leader.

Jeremy, Man, i feel for you. Just reading the post made my toes curl. I hope they didnt go to far and make you look anything like this chap,

A good friend of mine had the same OP, he tells me, he had just come out of the theatre (He had a general anethsetic) As he was coming too. 2 Nurses came over and spoke to him. They asked how are you doing Mr Rudge, do you mind if we have a look. Still groggy he said 'Go for it'. So they both lifted the blanket and checked out his man sacks. He said, everytime i think of it it makes me go red as a beetroot. Hes easilly embarrassed.

Check out the rules on pge 1 all. I forgot i added that eons back Whistling [:-^]

Guy/Tom - I had the "no needle no scalpel" procedure so they just lay you there and have at it. Numb the area with some Star Trek type device. The actual procedure was absolutely painless but halfway through I could feel tugging and pulling and stuff and I started getting really nervous... thought I was going to pass out, all clammy and sweaty. I thought... don't be a girl, suck it up damn it your a man and started looking around the room to take my mind off of it. When we were done, the nurse said "you did good, didn't even pass out." Playing it cool, I said "Why somebody has passed out before?" And she says to me "most people that come in here to have it done pass out."

Ha... guess I rate up there with the manliest of men! Somebody crown me! Big Smile [:D] In fact, I think I'll even get myself a manly sidekick. Mischief [:-,]

I just noticed that Ken doll has flesh colored underwear... guess we've all been making fun of him for no reason. Wink [;)]

Ok - I read the first page and got the "moustache rule"

Here is a pic of your truly on our last Boy Scout Campout severaal weeks ago..

Photobucket

But I was reading this fine website

http://www.spirit-of-the-age.co.uk/moustaches.htm

Well the  the "Buckaroo" style is no where shown. So I guess I will decide on one of those fine "Gentelman Styles" and break out the razor..

Tomorrow will sport a new look Thumbs Up [tup]

DON'T DO IT SEAN!!!   The Buckaroo style is way more cool than those so called "Gentleman's" styles.  BTW, what's a gentleman anyway?

Funny, I don't remember that last rule being there when I signed up.  Confused [%-)]  Had a stash (and a beard) when I was much younger and less portly.  Drove the women wild so I had to shave it eventually to keep the missus happy.  I'll see if I can dig up a pic somewhere.

Hmmm... okay, dug around a bit more and found another one.  Sorry for the fussyness (of the pic, not the stache) but this was taken pre-digital and we don't have a scanner at the moment so its a pic of a pic.  It's not quite the full buckaroo like Sean, maybe a half buckaroo.  I could never match the manliness of Sean's buckaroo. Sigh [sigh]

Hello Luftwoller, is it too late to join this group build?  I haven't participated in a group build before, and this one seems a good one to start with.  My skills pale compared to all involved, but the subject matter is so darn interesting, I'm willing to embarass myself to participate.

I have a Italeri S.79 III, and Italeri 1/72 Macchi 205, 1/72 Hasegawa Macchi 202, so it would be one of those.

Thanks for your consideration.

Gregbear, welcome to the GB. Im sure the others will welcome you with open arms. My 2nd in command 'The Sarge' or Aaron as hes more commonly known, will make an appearance at some point. (Hes a bit crook at the mo, with a bad back). Also our sagely Bondlikins will make an appearance as well. Great selection you have there. Whats going to be 1st on the bench then? Oh and do you have a moustache? Another gimmie, is the production of an introductory video. Showing your mancave or place of operations. A few videos were assigned as homework a while back. Have a look if you like. As i cant remember what page.

Voidses, Pictures man!! We need pictures!! and i dont think weve had a video from you yet, have we?

Thanks for the welcome, I sure do appreciate it.  I will have to brush up on my use of the electronic arts, or more likely get my 9 year old to do it.

I am sorry to say, no mustache.

I think I am going to start with the S.79.  If anybody has any advice for it, it would be appreciated!

Thanks again guys,

Which Sm79 kit are you building? Please don't say Trumpeter or I will be having nightmares for you! Black Eye [B)] Big Smile [:D] j/k

I built the Trumpeter SM79 1/48 and it hated me. If somebody would update the front page you would know this but it is on page 130. Whistling [:-^]

Good luck and I hope to see some progress soon. Thumbs Up [tup]
