Hey again, flicking through my latest edition of Scale Aviation Modeller and i see that MPM are bringing out a 1/72 kit of the Breda BA.88 Lince. I tried to find an online image of the box as it looks fairly cool. Dave, this is your scale and im sure youll want one, big boy. Hell, i want one.

The Breda 88  looks sweet! It is deninetely on my radar along with the Breda Ba 65. I whish they were 1/48 scale but you can'y be real  pickey  so if I have do built one in "Dave" scale I would.

Hmm new round of viddy's! I do not know if I can get Scott Baio agian for my new video but I will try. Is there a theme we are going for our hairly lipped leader and is clothing optional? I ask that mainly for Jeremy.

I love the Breda in sandy mottled camo. The pic on the MPM box in S.A.M shows the plain green. It would have to be your piccy, so the Dave fault meister can work his magicly mojoliness on it.

As for sauce, when I cook, it is usually for ten, so I open some jars!  If not, tomato sauce with fresh, not powdered garlic, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and cumin.  Simmer with bay leaves.  Add mushrooms, peppers, onions etc saute'ed as needed.

Looking at all of the completed builds, all I can say is: wow.  I am way out of my league, but I guess that is how one gets better.... I hope.

I hope all of you in the Regia mafia have had a good weekend so far.

OK fellow, down to business. Modeling an SM.79 is like modeling a P-51. Well and good, but focus a little. No need to get crazy, but any good Regia model needs a little back story. A good place to start is Italeri and what their kits suggest. I have a III in the stash, which is a torpedo bomber. The Squadron book is a good resource. For my Lira there's been way too many single engine fighters "and they all look the same" so a trimotore machina is a welcome addition.

In order to make a good sauce, you need a good garage...

That is nice, vine rippening tomatoes in the garage.  The Italians have their priorities strait.  They created the two greatest pieces of artwork too:  the 250 GTO, and the 250 Lusso.

As for Guy...the English are awesome at many things (James Bond, Guy Ritchie movies, the Canberra, Spitfire and superb mustaches), cooking, from my understanding isn't one of them!  Both are countries that I would love to visit.

The Italian trimotors have a lot of character.  Has anybody built the Italeri SM82?  That looks like a great kit.

 First night back to work and it went well!  Nice and boring and uneventful!

 Now I get on the GB to see all the pics and I get future releases and  raw tomato sauce!  You fellows are gonna make me break out my glue!

From what I could tell the SM.82 looks like a nice kit. This was one of two at last years contest, they were done almost the same lol. Unfortunately I only took a pic of one of them.

Voidses mc.202 Folgore

No AM parts were used what so ever (decals were included with the kit). Scale is 1/72 and the manufacturer is Hasegawa. I'll list a few of the modifications I can remember.

#Cockpit is detailed with Scratch built headreast, instrument panel, side consoles, seatbelts etc.

#Wheel whell was cut out and sctratch built (there wasn't anything in there OOB).

#Radiator was cut out and detailed with a new scratch built "radiator-flap", among other things.

#Front cowling is reshaped using putty and new air inlets had to be made.

#Wing fillers are reshaped along with the fuselage aft of the main radiator.

#Control surfaces are altered to look more to scale. 

#Holes were drilled out on a few places and a few panel lines have been moved to their correct place, including the ones on the elevator. 

I'm sure there's more but I  can't remember the specifics right now. 

I'm pleased with the end result but there's still a few things that bugs me whenewer I look at the model (mostly in the wheel whell area) but I can live with it. Hope it's up to Regia Aeronautica standards !

Voidses very bellissimo! Flawless, I'd say. What are those two yellow loops in the gear wells?

 I have seen those yellow loops on a few of the Italian gear bays.  I figured they were either stops or part of the coolent  hoses because of the color.  I added this Big Green mean Machine to the front page but I am slacking as far as Model brand and your name Voides! Sorry! Never the less I have been waiting for this one to be finished and I like it!  Patience and skills have made an excellent edition to this GB!

 Guy why is Voides not on your page one?  You are slacking!  A fine example of an Englishman that stops the bowling ball painted like a soccor ball with his head and still scores a goal me thinks!  Get cracking there fellow or else SC! and Jeremey will make a meatball sandwich outta yer brains and lable it as a low fat meal sure to bring the attention of several  dieting woman on your route!

Halloween piccies! Homework! Jeremy you already have the high ground. Anyone else got the brass to show pics of their wife's undees? I did a side by side of the old Supermodel SM81 sprues versus the new one from Italeri. All courtesy the www and when in creation is Italeri gonna ship the thing???

Anyways, the fuselage sprue is definitely a new one with a different layout and better looking guns too. And the decals have a lovely prewar scheme with tricolore tail surfaces!! Can't wait, can't wait!!

Voidses, what can i say. Shes a stunner. Your scratchwork is fantastic and as for 'Is it suitable for the reggy'? She sure is. Whats next? Are you sticking around for another build?
