Regia Aeronautica GB II (06/15/09 to 06/15/10)

Voidses, That is one awesome looking build in my favorite scale.    You are my new hero.  Well done...  what's next???

Aaron,   the new meds are working well I see.  Back to your old self judging by your posts. 

 Well Dave I do try. I am glad my biggest trouble at the moment is figuring out where I misplaced my 1/48 Stormo Italian Aces decal sheet! Got that Special Hobby G-50 with the finish markings but it has all the parts to make a desert Italian version so that is my goal once I find the decals!  May have to work on something else Italian until they resurface.

Alright kids, I am only going to show you a peek of what spilled out of the Tomb this morning. I was searching for an Original boxing of a kit Dave posted over at the FAA GB. So we all know who to blame for this mess...

I cant even get to my candy bars hidden in my file cabinet..

I'm thrilled you all seem to like the mc.202 so much! The build started out as a relaxing OOB, but somehow along the way I started to add a detail here and one there. It didn't take long untill the "big hammer" was out when I had taken the first steps . Looking at it in retroperspective I'm glad I did.

Regarding my next build I'm afraid I'll have to dissapoint all of you Reggey lovers. I haven't been able to put up a proper build area in my new home and because of that I'm planning to build a figure. It'll be more convenient to brushpaint instead of airbrushing.

Voidses, thanks for taking part in the GB. It was a great build. Good luck on the figure. When shes done, be sure to let us know and im sure we'll go have a look at your handywork. Then, if you have the time, you could always pop back and build another Reggy subject LOL.

Richie, in my excellent book 'Courage Alone' there is a superb picture of a CR42 in the back of an SM 82!! If i get time tonight, ill post up a piccy.

Carl - I would of sworn I commented on your Folgore Oh well, anyway That is a Fantastic build, really impressive scratch bits.. Thats what makes the kits fun IMO. And the paint looks great. 

Do drop in and give us a heads up when you get your figgie done. I have a bunch hid away myself to build someday(except they have less clothes) . Perhaps I can learn from yours.

Its a snowy chilly day at Summits Shack here in the PNW. What a great day to make some Minestrone soup. All home grown garden fresh veggies, Beans, Zukini, Carrots and Tomatoes .

Only the noodles are store bought.. I know - not as good lookin as a meatball sandwhich , but it sure taste good

That looks like a tasty dish there Sean! I love my pasta and fresh veggies. At my house we have a large vegtable garden and every fall the house is overflowing with tomatoes eggplant peppers cucumbers and such.

Sarge I appreciate you effort on the first page. I enjoyed being able to find all of the videos in one place. Job well done.

I'm moving right along on my 262 and I will be back here soon to build something with an Italian flavor!

 Uh I was really REALLY hoping that Guy shaving his noodle meant something much different in England.  Man the mental pictures just won't leave my mind!  Well it is Frank's B-day so I guess I should expect a measure of strange behavior.  Then again that may be why Stormo wanted him!  The first ever modeler centerfold!  He looked kinda Italian with the Mustache!  He  Henry Winkler played a tough cool Italian and what is he like 5 foot tall?

Well while it was a fine model of a G-55 you must have hid the fact that it was built by a Brit otherwise I do'nt think it would qualify to be put up on STORMO!
