Well Mr Corleone, Garand time or no. My next build may well be the CR. But saying that ive just recieved a glorious Tamiya 190A8 with Verlnden Update set and verlinden Underwing stores from ebaY, thats really calling me, but as you know. I just cant let my Reggies down. That and the fact that i want the resin engine for it and thats £28. Booo. Really want to do the Piaggio Bomber as well. Darn, that 190's getting pushed back even further.

I know what you mean Guy. I have a 1/48 Tamiya A-3 that I have been wanting to start since the begining of summer. I have a nice aftermarket decal set for it too. 28 smackers of that funny English money! Thats about 42 US dollars. I only payed 30 US bucks for the whole A-3 kit. I think you should work some of your Moustachio majic on the kit part and pass on that deal. You could buy a whole nuther kit for that.

There are rumors that a certian G-55 kit might be gracing the holy place that is know as Crusher workbench tonight! I depends if I hit the wall early tonight on the 262 due to a lack of masks.Sad [:(] I am really bummed because I was finally spending some good bench time and making good progress on this kit since the springtime. I think I will just have to jump right into the Fiat now.

She would be the 1/48 Revell. Flying in one and shooting at one? Nice!

Brush paint? How dare you?! This is my first helicopter so I have to do it right. Perhaps I'll overlook that comment for some Garand time. Big Smile [:D]

I was hoping to start the ICR-42 and my Me-262 for Franks build at the same time... we'll see how it goes. Thumbs Up [tup]

Right, for all your delaying tactics Jezza. I require a video. Dont give us any of that flim flam about not having the necessary equiptment, save that line for the wife. Everybodys mobile has video facility, that is unless it has a string attached to another out of the bottom of it. Nothing major, just a 'Hello' like you will see on Pge 1 that the Aaronster posted. Hurry up, were all waiting.

Just recieved anoth Fantastic book. Its on the 109 and is totally in german. But it does have the ellusive 2 seater rear cockpit pic i was desperate for. It also has a few good pics of that 109 that Aaron got with the extra tailwjheel in the middle. I now know it was parachuted down to earth after take off. Theres a pic.

Anyways, waffling over, wheres that video Jeremy?

I have a few books in foreign languages. Sometimes the reference pics are worth more than the words.

I have an old soft cover book that is in French. One of the only major languages that I never bother to studyBanged Head [banghead]. From the few French word I do know it appears to be about the free French pilots that served in the Russian Air Force. I have never seen anything else like it. I was not away that there were any French pilots that served in Russia during WWII. The book has alot of really cool photos that I have never seen anywere else. Stuff like a DC-3 fitted with some type of Russian radial engines that look similar to the ones used on the I-16. Figures it is in the one language I never studied! There are over 200 pages of print with the pics but I can't understand very much of it.

Well, it's Regia Marina, but I would suggest that is acceptable, as long as Sean and Aaron built Ro.43s.

Looks like a great kit, and the floaty little objects are always a winner. I vote yes, Signor Guy of the limp pasta noodle.

Old Crusher will be here soon so no worries boys! I am trying to do everything I can on the 262 without the masks. Then I am going to start on my second G-55.

Guy sorry to hear about the PC woes. I just recently replaced mine a couple of months ago. I am having the old one fixed because it is still worth alot of money but I wanted a newer faster one. Good thing too because it has been a month since I dropped it off and its still not fixed! To top it off I know the person fixing it and my brother-in-law and I put a clutch in his BMW last year and saved him alot of money. So much for returning the favor!

Jeremy she looks like a winner to me.  So were are the progress pics? No excuses about working on that silly eggbeater either.

Excuses, excuses... here they are.  Big Smile [:D]

The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine camo is taking me way too long. One day's work and only 1/2 (.5 for Guy) of one side completed. I'm doing it all backwards for some strange reason. Confused [%-)]

RA progress... soon... I promise. Angel [angel]

Hey guys, im back...just for how long, i really dont know. My internet is working at the mo, but im not holding my breath. Probs with the supplier. We were cut off. Long story that i cant be bothered to bore you with.

Jeremy, the mystery machine camo is looking great. And it looks like your on the final leg. Good man.

Crusher, hurry and finish that 262. Who needs masks. Ask the Sarge, he does his canopy painting blindfolded with a cocktail stick between his toes. My 262 is almost there. Ill post an update later (Football in a short while)

I went up to the nationals here in the UK. Didnt enter anything but bought a load of goodies that i just couldnt live without,

Its going to be a little while before i start a Reggie, im afraid. I have to do a P-47 (In the Pic) for our Model clubs meet next month. The theme is the 9th AF in Dorset (Where i live). Im doing the kit OOB so, hopefully i should be able to finish it quickly and, as i said the 262 is almost done.

More soon,

The show as great. Supposedly the largest model show in the UK. All went well apart from i was robbed by a compant called Wonderland Models! Remember that name and dont do buisness with them.

I bought a kit from them and while the guy was sorting out the credit card i was talking to his oppo about an airbrush. When i went back for the kit, about 5 mins later, there was no sign of it. I asked where it was and he said hed given it to me....mmm..I dont think so. He then said ,If it turns up by the end of day, theyll give it to me. It didnt! I spoke to the manager bloke and he basically said Tough Sh1t. Tempted as i was to smack the tit in the mouth, i held back and tried doing it through the IPMS guy there. Its ongoing, so stay tuned LOL.

Dave, im a sucker for the big German stuff. Add to that Revell were there at the show with one built and painted. I fell in love with it. My mate Big E bought it for me as i was a little low about the missing kit. Hes a good guy. Then later in the day i spied a beautifully built condor. I rounded the corner and there was one for sale. It had to be mine. The 1st kit i bought on the day was the HS 126. Its by Vector and is all resin,....mmmmmmm, resin. As for the books, i just cant resist the smell of a new paper back.
