I agree SC!  He's A-OK in my book, and not just because of the gift he sent me.  This isn't the first time he has covered my "6".  Last year, when I was trying to make some decals for my Spitfire Mk.I, Mac jumped in to help me out with both feet.  Sent a whole sheet of decals he made on his computer!  I felt SOOOOO bad when I had to tell him they were the wrong size.  So what does he do?  He does it all over again at the right size!  What a slendid chap.  Three cheers to McNeal!

Guy- that cockpit looks absolutely incredible!!!  The dog's bollocks mate. Thumbs Up [tup]

Steve-  Excellent work on your 202!  Sorry I can't help you with the decals, don't have any RA stuff in my stash.

Hehehe, I'm terrible, aren't I? Mischief [:-,] LOL...

Fellas-

Lookie what the postman brought me today!

I was looking for one of these, and having difficulty finding one anywhere.  Remember the 109 we talked Mac into getting?  Well, after his multiple RA GB purchases, he didn't feel he could build 'em all.  So, in a most wonderful gesture of friendship, he decided that I should build the RA 109!  How cool is that?  He was also kind enough to send along some other items I was looking for, way cool my friend.  That was over the top, and I cannot thank you enough. Approve [^]

Just remember, turn-about is fair play. Evil [}:)]

Guy- Would you be so kind as to change my entry here to a Bf-109G-4?  Many thanks fella!  BTW, did those smoke ring decals arrive yet? Confused [%-)]

Aaron if either one of those pictures are really you i would like to ask you to marry me right now. I'll even do the cooking and cleaning! One thing is bothering me though. Either you and Guy are twins or that is not your face. Come on time to come clean or you might find yourself with alot of extra homework!

Steve sorry mate. Seems I have tail crosses for just about everything the Regia Aeronautica flew in WWII except the 202 205 series. If you want to paint them I do have the House of Savoy emblems seperatly that I could sent you to add to the center of the crosses. just let me know.

I was at the game...supposedly.  I was too young to remember; probably eating a hot dog while looking for the cotton candy guy.

Guy:  I say "Noooo" to the photo thing. Just ask him to do it and tell us what happened. I don't need the pictures. It's bad enough as a mental image.

Nice work!  I'm still building a 109, haven't even started the Albatros, and you're already half way through your RA build!  How the heck do those elves do it?  Perhaps I'll just box up my GB kits and send them over to them. Big Smile [:D]

THAT"S THE PICTURE!!!  You win a great prize!  You get to shave Mac's bikini line LOL.  Thanks for finishing your homework, suppose you have more for us now. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Steve- You must have Guy's elves working for you too!  Not one but THREE 109's, and now you're painting your Macchi? Shock [:O]  You are a modeling machine my friend. Bow [bow]

Everybody, on the count of 3, all pour thinners in your ears to burn your minds eye.

What an evil image to leave us all with. Homework for you big boy, infact detention.

Stand in the middle of your street in your scivvys and have someone photograph you. As penance. All in favour say 'I'

Sean you can't flaunt that stash and then not expect us not to nag the poop out of you to build 2 or 3 of em'! If Guy has seen your post your a done for. I forsee alot of homework in your future.

Guy awesome job on that pit. I remember building mine how delicate and detail it is. Looks like you nailed it. I shall scan and post ther instruction sheet for you after I clean up a bit and visit the market as my cupboards are bare and I am hungry. The engine on the Re 2000 is a little different that the Cr42 one. The crankcase just had flat spots on it where the cylinder heads were supose to be placed. I know now to take more off of the bottoms of the cylinder heads to get a better fit in the cowl.

Aaron  thanks for lookung for the number. The next wild party you have let me know and I'll be on the first plane to Texas!

Steve I think I have you covered on the tail crosses but I will not have a chance to look until a little later tonight. I will let you know. Since my Giants crapped out yesterday I say GO STEELERS!

OMG, Aaron. My mental eyes, my mental eyes !!!!!!!!!. I cant get that burnt image out of my head. I may now need years of theraphy to recover from that sentance. Maybe modelling will help put the image out of my head.

Mucker, I remember that play and there was a very simular one in last night game , if you saw it. Cant believe it was not flagged.

Unfortunately, this is my first Italian aircraft, so I have absolutely zero decals, spares, etc. Might I interest you, however, in some scraps from a Terrible Towel or a nice photo of Turkey Jones performing a pile-driver on Bradshaw (before the "Pile Driver" was term, no less)?

I can't find it for the life of me, but truth be told, I have a few Iron City beer cans with the Super Bowl teams from the '70's.

WOW Guy, that pit is totally awsome. Very realistic and great detail. I bow down to your skills and workmanship.

On my front here is a few shots of the paint from last night. Just dropping a hint here but would anyone happen to have a spare set of white crosses from the rudder. My decal sheet looks very dodgy. I can paint the white on the nose and fuselage band but want the rudder to be a decal if possible.

Thanks for comments and critique

Summit, I laughed about the Ragu comment. (More homework for that one) The camera deffo shows up more than you see LOL.

Mucker, i read on the Stormo website the colour for Italian Interiors was a geeny grey, Verde Anticorosione. FS 24272. Wow, that was almost a complete answer.

Your Aaronliness, yes the pit is entirely either PE or resin. Well the floor was resin and so was the l/h/s consul but the rest was PE, and Colour PE, Eduards.

Too late Sean he knows they are there now!  Not much chance of you surviving the thrashing he will give you in an attempt to suck the pudding from an over extended straw!  ( Don't ask I saw it on a Benny Hill episode)

Guy fantastic work on the pit. Is that Framing all PE?  Love your gun site and reflector. ! Top marks as usual!

I have no cell phone # for the Elfs SC? Usually they show up at the biggest loudest party!

Top marks for the 'pit so far, Guy....even though you're the guy with the red pen.

I've done some tinkering around and found the main colors I need for my MC.202. Looks like FS30219, FS34042 and FS36307. I'm trying to stay in the Gunze or Tamiya line (because that's what works best for me). It looks like

FS30219 - Gunze H-310

FS-34052

FS-36307 - Gunze H-324 (maybe Tamiya XF-25)

For the FS-34052 (Olive Green), some of the sources suggest RLM 70. What do you guys use?

How about the Interior? Is FS-34272 the right color?

Guy - that pit is Fantastic Bow [bow] I think the pilot spilt his jar of Ragu though from the looks of those floorboards. Whistling [:-^]Or those guys need a rug on the wing to wipe their feet on.

Looks great , nice crisp details looks like it should be 1/1 scale.

I like the looks of those Cant Z 1007's - if it were not for the boobs bombs you would not know which side goes up.  Laugh [(-D]

Wow, in the time it took me to post mine. " others popped in, in the meantime. Why you sneaky.... LOL

Crusher, my instructions are awfull, there is only one page that is woefully lacking and the painting instructions. If you could scan a copy of yours, id seriously appreciate it. And excuse you from Homework.

In the photo, i see what you mean. Sometimes those beaches can be high as heck LOL. On my engine all i did was to put the recessed part of each cyl head in the holes? Didnt yours have the holes?

Summit, there are some awesome looking kits there. I just love the Cant Z 1007s, i so need 1 or 2 f those suckers and the BR20's, oh im drooling now. Im off to Evilbay.
