Regia Aeronautica GB II (06/15/09 to 06/15/10)

Guy - Wow~wee what a nice haul. I am really liking that HS-126 and in 1/48 even..

When you get ready to build your Condor let me know ahead of time and I might find room on the bench to build the 1/48 version I have.. One of those kits that mysteriously appeared in the Tomb..

And I thought 1/72 P/E is a bugger to work with..

Aaron, i think you need to build one as well. A 3 way wopuld be well cool. Getting close to being a GB LOL.

I took a load of pics at the show of some great stuff, but the table that stopped me in my tracks was....wait for it....,

Much to my surprise, there was even a scale model of Lord Moustachio himself!

And i saw this and thought of Daywaster!!

Guy - Ah now that table those red stripped wings would of caught my eye also. I have wanted to build a paint scheme like that ever since you and Bondo teased us with yours.

Guy, Sounds like you had a great time Guy minus the one incident.  As for the Condor I have the revell kit in the stash too so count me in for a GB!    Did you by any chance take a pic of the Ju 290?  I'd love to see it.

Sorry Dave, i thought i had but obviously not. It looked fantastic in the revell stand. It was done in a night scheme with the black undersides. It really looks like a honey of a kit though. Your 290 looks awesome my friend. You are definately a talent. Your AB work is just amazing. Ill get the hang of the thing one day.

So youd be a Multi-engined GB as well?

Wow Guy that is a nice haul you have there! I love thoses Osprey books. The book story near me carries alot of them in stock at all times. I have about 15 of them. Best thing to come out of old Blighty besides you of course! Spend the batter part of today watching our version of Football today. Home team lost! %^&$ Giants! Man they really blew it agian making it 4 in a row! Did Liverpool win their match?

A multi-engine GB? It ain't big unless it a Me 323 Gigant. I have the Italeri kit stashed away. Even in 1/72 it is huge. It would definetely be a shelf sitting dust collector if I ever build it just like my 1/24 Airfix Stuka and 1/32 P-38.

I should be able to start the G-55 sometime this week as there is not much left I can do on the 262. I have all of the fiddly bits painted up seems filled and ready for the ever elusive mask set. Lets get this GB rolling agian boys!

 I have totally misplaced my 1/32 box of Italian goodies! It's here some where!  I have been working too many crazy hours for 6 days in a row now! Hard to find time to look but I will find it!  That and my decals.

 Guy love what you have done with that 262 kit!  Looks just like the photos  posted!  Remarkable results even for your level of expertise! Not bad for an Englishman either.

 I want a 1/48 Piaggo!

Does anyone do the Piaggio in 1/48? If so, ive never seen it. The one in the pictures and in my stash are 1/72. Still loads of resin goodies and stuff in it. Now did the Reggies ever field a condor???

Guy - I just got a new addition to the German Collection today in a trade .

Very well detailed kit with recessed panel lines.. And Look at those nice HS 293 flying bombs

The original plan was to use it for a "Mistel" conversion.. But this is way too nice of a kit for that.. I will still have to find an "Airfix" for the conversion..

The Ju-290 was HUGE!!!!! Didn't realize how big it was!!!

Somebody made a resin conversion with the bomber nose for the Revell kit to make the version shown in that video.  Is guy up for the challenge...

DOH!!!!  How'd I miss that...   That is way cool and now I have another one to add to the wish list.

I'm guessing Lord Moustachio is going to do that nice He 177 he just aquired! 

I'm in with my Revell Condor kit.    Which one are you doing Guy?  My vote is for all of them!
