No worries Alex.. We're all here pretty new, and we miss stuff easily..

But how many times have I seen a profesionally built model, built for a client with such errors? Well, pretty often.. Smile [:)]

Just go slow, check every piece before glying it.. After you've cleaned it, check it again to be sure.

And please, give me a closeup of that camera! And tell me how the Academy figures are.. I can't imagine Academy is good at figgies?

Graham: No worries about being a little late..  We can wait for something that want halt our modeling... However, the workbench wont wait for anything..! Laugh [(-D]

I was looking at the pictures and saw what you saw Huxy. I definitely need to clean that stuff up it looks horrible. You are correct the one man is a camera man.

Cheers

That's ok, Huxy. Again, I'll update the roster. Fair setup is the 11th... After that, I'll update this GB. I'm very sorry about all this, guys.

I really like those kits you bought..  How's those Academy figures? And could I get a closeup of the camera in the Alanger kit? I suppose he is a cameraman?

The Sd.kfz. 221 isn't really my favorite of those (And the similar) German scoutvehicles, but it's cool!

Your start is really good.. I do like it!  But I can see a few faulties... I photoshopped it so you can see them better:

The red circles shows ejector pinmarks, and where the part connects to the sprue.. The blue line contains mouldline.. All of these should be cleaned away!

But as said, you're off to a great start! Can't wait for more! Big Smile [:D]

Arighty. I've now decided that I am going to incinerate the Airfix Stuka cause its driving me mental. Also I kinda went on a shopping spree today and picked up abunch of stuff from the LHS which I want to build for this GB. Possible dio with the tank crews and the panther. Also 1/35th Bronco Sdkfz 221

Wow! Awesome! I'm painting 2 Sherman Tankers as we speak (BTW, A Dragon E8 Sherman 1/35th is my build now. Changed it) and they're mediocre at best. I'll update this as soon as possible, I'm just really busy actually building the tank (a fair is coming up very soon) and I only have 1/4 of the tracks assembled, much less painted! All newcomers, welcome aboard!

Lighting..

Norway has had a record breaking hot summer this year, and has been constant sun for over a week with NO clouds. Woods caught fire too. Hottest summer in Norway since the 70's.

Well, as my profile says, I live in Kristiansund, which is a little south in middle Norway.  But now I'm at my dad who lives in Larvik, just south of the capital Oslo. So I'm pretty south, where it's even hotter.

Anyways, after this recordbreaking summerstart, Oslo got hell. Early in the morning yesterday, all dry and sunny. A little later, TWO THOUSAND (2000) registered lightingstrokes in ONE hour... Resulting in ALOT of rain:

Imagine being almost dried out, and driving trough that at the same day....  But as you see, they got a little sun afterwards.

As I slept tonight, I could hear lots of thunder in the distance.. Ahh, awsomeness...!

ANYWAYS....  I'll get home by August, and will start the GB then.. wait.. What's the end date?

I just started a Kubelwagen.. Depending on the end date, I may just enter it?

Thanks Huxy, I will try to fix the remainder of the seam today, I do not know if there is anything I can do about the top of the barrel on the Tigers 88 though.....

Thanks, Jim

Huxy I used Tamiya's Dark Yellow at a 2:1 paint to thinner ratio. I then sprayed it on with a paasche airbrush at around 15 psi

Alex, nice Panther! Love the coat there. What paint did you use?

And the Stuka is coming along nicely too! Smile [:)]

Jim:

I still see a line at the muzzle on the Tiger... And if you want to be picky, you sanded the barrel top flat! It now has a flat line ontop instead of being perfectly round!

But really...  1/72 scale.. Not many will notice, and I do like the rest you have done. I'm just beeing annoying and picky now Laugh [(-D]

Also, I seem to spot a nasty gap on the back of the 251, just where the rear wall meets upper hull....

Looking good Hellcat man!

Here's my progress!

I have removed the seam lineon the tiger's 88

I have fixed the pak 40 leg after a friend told me part of it was backwards

Finished painting, weathering and installing the interior of the halftrack, Pastel chalks and great for sutble weathering!!

I assembeled and basecoted the figures from Mig.

And I made some headway on the base, I glued two slabs of styrofoam together, and then I have cut the general shape of the base out of that. The base is by no means done though.

Thanks, Jim
