Is it too late to join? I have an OLD vintage LS 1/72 A-7 Corsair II that I'd like to build and this sounds like a good time to build it.

set rep. as follows tamia models usually fall together by themselfs so no unforseen problems with assembly. plan of attack are as follow. frame and drivetrain with added brakelines drilled out exhaust and weathering all brush painted. spray all body parts and awaite dryng . detail and paint all seats. scrape fenders down then thehot water bath for battle damage assemble touch up paint  now to camo or not to camo that is the question.        digital confermation to follow.                 golf bravo alfa...bravo oscar tango          end transmission...

Hello odd fellow? Welcome to the GB!

I have been digging and digging for my Italian stuff! I can not find my Italian aces decals and a box of 1/32 lits has been misplaced! Banged Head [banghead]

They don't sell snow shovels down dez parts!

But after I get the room picked up! I look at my wall of GB stuff and smile.

Get well Frank and Dave! You old coots!

Capt Bondo!   I may need a double dose of yer medicine to get me thru the night! One week to get all cleaned up and the bench prepared!  General coodoors will be sounded all to soon get yer rest!

Christmas presents and work to boot the humanity of it all!

and a Prayer for my friends at Fort Hood may the  loved ones of those killed and wounded find comfort and peace from such an aweful unbelievable event.

Okay Sarge, two things.  I sure hope that miscellaneous body part in that first pic is still attached to a body and that the said body isn't still buried under all that rubble (OMGOSH... I just referred to a Tamiya Lanc as rubble Ashamed [*^_^*])

Secondly, why is Batman impaled on a wall with all your models????  Confused [%-)]

Thirdly, (did I say two things) My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by todays awful events as well.  What a tradgedy!!!

Holy shitt, my Carlsberg coaster!! I've been looking for that ever since I stopped dating Clare Danes! Dog, you were the guy?

Nice pile of junk. What happened, Dee took your car and emptied the trunk? At least she recycled the empties!

Aaron your mozzer was a hamsterrr and your fazzer smelled of elderberry. I am up for battle. If'n yer a knight there's two Lancies in th' pile an' once you've built one ye'd never go back an' build t'nuthher, wud ye bro? Mightn well get it outern yer system now. Real men take em' two at a time. Holds true fer Normans, Gauls, Pictish an' Tamiyas.

I am so confused and bewildered.

Clare Danes? Isn't she a bit skinny?

Hmmmm Seems like I will be working on the railroad all the live long night right up to the start time.  That's good I'll already be tired and won't notice.

BOndo , I got a whole attic full of model junk from my lifetime.

Every once in a while a body does turn up Dave.

What for?

There is a little clear area on the right hand side, just next to the drill where you could work.

Big Smile [:D]

Hello

I have an unstarted Eduard's 1/48 P-400 Weekend Edition (yeah, will see.) I would like to do for this GB. It would be a crossover with my Pacific War GB. Is this ok? If so am I in?

Thanks

Scott

I've just had a look at the forcast for the weekend, and it's going to be HOT here. Friday 39C (102F), my house is not airconditioned, so drying time should not be an issue.

Woooo! Three days! Got to get the bench cleaned up a bit and actually write down the sequence of events as well as paint callout now while we're not frantically building. That, and get a shot of all the parts beforehand.

Me and BrownEyes are shooting for a noon Friday to noon Sunday span...lets us relax and decompress with some football after going model-nuts all weekend. Big Smile [:D]

I got invited to see the 9ers! My good luck- it's a Thursday game, not Sunday! Didn't know how I was gonna get my xacto into the Stadium! There is the small matter of Stanford-USC but it will have to be background!

Going to the Hobby Shop Thursday afternoon for last minute supplies. Making a final list tonite. Last weekends little experience with the Cobra Co. AM for my helo reminded me to have Bandaids handy! Ouchh...But not the Dave and certainly not the Frank (or Jeremy OMG) ouch!

Sarge, there is no set start time.  Start whenever you like but keep it to 48 hrs.  So if you startat 5:00 pm friday you muust try to finish by 5:00pm Sunday.  If you can't finish on time post a pic of where you are at at the 48 hr mark and then finish up when you can.

There are heaps of threads about posting pictures in Community Assistance (aka Forum Help). If you still need help with that.

not long to go now!!!

OK, just under 11 hours and I will be under way, I plan to start Friday morning at around 9:00am (GMT +9:30).

I've finally decided to go with the yellow (dunkelgelb) and green (dunkelgrün) camo (Summer Russia 1943), So Ill try to go easy on the mud, and heavy on the dust.

Here it is ready to go

And I've cleared the bench and the booth, and have my work area ready as well.

We are in the midst of a heat wave here in Adelaide, and now both days are forecast to hit 39c. So while you guys in the northern hemisphere are sitting, waiting for your paint to dry, think of me, bathed in a pool of sweat, trying to get my parts together, before the glue evaporates.

Anyone read this week's FSM newsletter? Because of a "free weekend" for non-subscribers, you won't be able to log in to the website until Monday. If you have the appropriate cookies on your computer you're ok, but if for any reason you have a required login coming up you won't be able to get on to the forum. Hope this doesn't keep anybody off on such an important weekend. Disapprove [V]
