Yeah, Oh Yeah!?!

I was just going through an old Monogram stash and found a load-out for a 1/48 Monogram Navy F-4B, and it has this 'super squirt-gun' looking package attached to a pylon. Hmmm....and that early ECM pod Berny showed us, where'd that come from?

Uhhhh......sstillll......need......1/48......Monogram.......F-4.......

Oh well, those 3 Revell 1/32 are about all I can deal with these days, but who knows, Dayton had tons of stuff I thought was oughta' print!

So, soon I'm going to develop the coconuts to cut the plastic for those intakes........maybe soon......

Rich, between Ken, you, and myself, we've got the cold war covered!

Enough GB's for the rest of our natural lives, especially at the rate I build!Wink

Boyd didn't like the F-111, him and Hillaker designed the F-16, and Hillaker designed the B-58, God love 'em all, I like the F-111, and the B-58...lol.....my second favourite airplanes....

Sounds like we both have the same taste in kits, although my stash has never been that large.  Usually it takes me weeks to just scrounge up enough for one kit. lol

Bockscar

Ken,

The guy who I bought alot of my older stash from had about 7-11 kits each of all the planes I like. They were stacked up like firewood. He had 15 Monogram F-86 Sabres. A dozen F-100's, a pile of MIG 15's....

I was a Cold War Kid, so i love polished aluminum, F-84's, F-86's, Genie missiles, the Century Series, Hustler bombers, B-36, B-47, BUFF, yeah, that was my era. I also have a Monogram F-111A, and a Minicraft FB-111A.

You already know....lol.....I remember an interview with a guy named 'Boots' Blesse?, him and his team would break the sound barrier in F-86's, full vertical dive, years before Yeager ever stepped into his X Bullet.....

I swear that sonic boom is still reverbing in my stash.....keeps it alive......lol.....

Hey Dom, you are not going to believe this, but I too have an F-111A sitting on the shelf waiting to be built!  It is very eerie how we have a lot of the same kits.

Ken

Pay no attention to the un-completed work below....

I'm not done yet, guys! That Luftwaffe "F" ain't gonna build itself!

Give me some time to come up with a better photo and I can choose a better place than my cluttered desk!

Great job Jim!  Yes  Yes

Smile Jim -- hover over the one you want, right click, choose 'save as' and drop it into a folder on your hard drive. Then upload it to Photobucket, Flickr or any other spot on the web, copy the URL of the hosted image and paste into the signature line of your profile. Wallah! Much like uploading the WIP pics...

Not to sound dumb, but how do I do the badge thingy? Huh?

On my workbench now:

It's all about classic cars now!

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?

Congrats, Jim -- she's a beauty! To say you started with an old model and did this with her is pretty remarkable! Outstanding build!

Take your pick of the badges, sir! Let me know when you have a photo you're proud of and I'll get her onto the Honour Wall. (She's our seventh completion.)

Cheers, Mike/TB379

Berny - Thanks for the compliments!  I'm glad you liked them.

I actually wanted to grime up the German one a bit more, but nerves got the better of me and I decided to just leave it.

Thanks again! Yes

Chris.
