Nice Vance ,good work for oob, this airfix really looks good even if panel lines are as little trenches  

My gr3 have so little panel lines that i fear to lost all in the paint stage, will try to use the camouflage gray as primer to save paint layers.

Thanks, just getting some more update pics taken as i have just added the second coat of OD. Will hopefully get them up tonight. I have been at this for 3 months, and very tempted to start my 251 as i haven't touched any armour for 2 years. O well, not long to go.

Instead i need to find a kit to build as oob without touching none of white sheets or others materials, just follow instructiions , gluing and paint it

thanx to the reference pictures discovered by vance , lots of pieces again needed ,as another type of cloche rear the throttles, probably used for the hoovering stage.

Good luck so far with the Aerocalcas decals? I'll have to order some for the Super Etandard. Looking forward to the Twin Otter!

Some progress over the weekend, mixed & sprayed my first coat of overall gray on the Harrier. Need to make sure I lay down enough to cover the putty! Pics later,

The day-glo is on. I need to retouch the paint in some places and paint the yellow bands on the tail. I saw a black and white photo from the "T-83" just after the war and it have not one but two yellow bands!

ohhh Jeremias, not good at all. Looks like one of your jets attacked the rest of them! I know I hate fixing things after already completing them once. Good luck with the repairs.

Ahhhh - this is where my brain cramps up from lack of modern jets. (That's my excuse anyway!!) I'm using Tamiya acrylics in the airbrush, wanted to have some parts in place before spraying to avoid tricky touchups. I mounted the outboard weapons pylons & then sprayed.... then last night realized that the pylons sit over top of the underside roundels!! I guess I'll have to do some decal slicing!

Vance a time i remember have replaced my  guitar old chords in reverse mode.. i realize the mistake only when triyng to tune it  

i can give a simple tip to cut the decals, take a chainsaw and then ,keep it far from the workbench, then use a normal cutter to cut the decal ..

out of jokes just take some measurement worst way was if you totally forget about the two roundel decals

Luckily I kept the inboard pylons (used for the fuel tanks) off to make airbrushing easier. I can trace a circle on cardboard the same size as the roundels, then set the pylons over the circle so I know how much of the decal to trim out.

Yep, the other thing you can do is scan the decals. I always scan every decal set I get. Who knows? For my own person use of course. I usually paint a white, or black, shape under where the decal goes just to give it a little more pop. Making copies of my scans makes that easy.

The Sea Harrier got a coat of Future last night. I didn't bother taking any pics though - just close your eyes & pretend you can smell that fresh apple-y smell. Hoping to get some decals on tonight. How's everyone else doing?

Hey, does anybody in here know of a source for a 1/72 Exocet missile?? I just spotted a thread with someone looking for one. I'm pretty sure my Super-E only comes with one or I'd send him one. I wish I could cast some resin copies of that one.

Modern ordance in that scale, unless its American, is pretty rare. But i will see what i can find.
