Trey another great finished plane, some photoshop work can easily turn pictures in "looks like real in flyght plane"   and the Shidenkai looks like a  good kit.

Gamera, the nate is really near to finish, just had three days of stop for a distress on left elbow, returned on workbench today. Some retouch on the nate and i'll post finished pics

I'm gonna do the Myrt first, I have 3 Nicks so I'm in no rush there

Bsyamato thanks, the pin wash I use consist of artists oils thinned with lighter fluid . Using a fine brush I touch the panel line and the thinned paint runs into the line by capillary action. The oil base paint does'nt 'attack'  the enamel so you can wipe of the mistakes easily. I also use the oils for weathering and staining areas to simulate oil leaks.

Forget about it, thanx trey, but is basically the same process i used, only i use instead of oil color the same enamels with 80-90 % thinned... but the raised details are too little for this tecnique

then , i lost the original pitot tube () eated by the floor and replaced with some metal piece

after last retouch the ki-27 is finished !! this time don't want (and cannot) exagerate with eathering and avoid chippin to simulate an almost new plane. Just need to take decent pictures tomorrow under sunlight

Got the paint and decals done on the Emily...solva-set wrinkiling them up as we speak ..lol. Took forever to mask off the leading edges for the orange-yellow. Just have to finish up the props, torpedos and fiddlies. Here`s a few pics....

Well guys I'm sad to say that I went and cut the tip of my index finger off today, so my progress on the Zero is going to be slowed slightly.

was using this new chopper thing she got off qvc to cut up some lettuce.  couldnt figure out how the guard worked so went without.  got the entire head of lettuce chopped, then went for one more pass and took basically the meaty pad of my index finger off, like where your finger print is.  was lucky enough to miss bone, nail or artery but was still bleeding so badly had to go to an urgent care, and they had to numb my finger and cauterize it to stop the bleeding.  lets just say they didnt use enough numbing lol hurt something awful and still does and now have to  work two sixteen hr shifts at the jail.  sorry for poor grammar or spelling, posting from the cell phone.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Jailcop- it sounds painful as  and the treatment sounds even more painful. Hope a swift recovery to you and Bsyamato- hope this isn't turning into a jinx thread...

BTW: going to throw this in as well. Good golly this is a nice kit, I picked up an Eduard ZOOM set for the cockpit but it doesn't really need it, so I think I'll hang on to the PE and build the kit out-of-box.

Will try to get the photos of the Suisei up soon, I've been finishing off a P-47 and mostly busy with it.

Thanx Gamera, chose yourself the picture, today the sun was really good, i'll try tomorrow to some outdoor picture (best was if i get one at the dawn with.. rising sun ) hoping in a less windy day

Waikong: Already started on the cockpit, great detail and fantastic fit. Hans von Hammer would hate this kit. Only  problem I've found so far is I'm having the devil of a time sanding/filing off the injection pin marks on the inside of the flaps, which if you build them retracted of course don't show. Not Tamiya's fault- I don't know of any way to engineer the kit without putting the marks somewhere.

Bsyamato: I'll wait till tomorrow for the rest of your photos before posting anything.
