You have my support, that is a ton of work, best of luck with it and I bet it turns out great.  After this if you feel under-challenged.... just pick up the Mono B-36. Wink

Too huge thing for me but really like the plane!! Just ordered the new revell halifax (and near to get the fw-200 too Surprise ) withouth having space to put the other giants i have in the stash....

Thanx Trey, i think about to finish with same scheme but needed almost the tail numbers Surprise in future hope to get another copy to finish in the original way

Right now repairing a break near the wing tip

Automatic paint chipping during the masking for the black band, then returning back!!!

theres was lots of Claude with NMF Eric but not this box. Decals includes 3 planes with the yellowish metal Embarrassed

I'm going for the box art plane ,pilot Matsuo Hagiri on the Soryu carrier in the 1939

As i read somewhere, planes was originally NMF but the action of the sea toned it to yellow Wink

For sure i want in future another one or two version of this same kit to use other camouflage included some shiny NMF Stick out tongue

If all goes right must looks like this:

Actually painting another layer glossy, probably able to put decals this afternoon Toast

The red-tail is a very nice contrast to the NMF.

Bsyamato: Happy you're enjoying the GB. Nice job on the Claude- the red tail looks great with the aluminum plane. Cool

How long is this GB going? To the end of the year?

I had planned for September the 1st unless you people want to just keep going.

I too am amazed we're up to page 110, when I started this I wondered if I'd get enough entries to do a GB and page 110 and we're only about halfway though- WOW Cool

DoogsATX

bsyamato - that thing looks really nice out in the sun! Wish I had such a natural backdrop to work from. Can't complain with the Texas Hill Country, but it's not the Med!

Smile my lucky is that the med is the only side that don't show the real size of kits and i can cheat on it. Texas Hill could be a good backdrop for armour. Also you see from live the mediterranean sea, but i don't see from live no texas hill or others USA countryes Surprise

BTW i'm used in summer to have some excursion in the mountains here, will try to get some picture Paradise

Thanx Wabashwheels Toast keep in mind that my nickname means battleship yamato Whistling

Gamera thanx for the update theres one of best walls around!!!

i tried to cycling between pages to see your judy canopy for references but it's hard to check 110 pages !Indifferent! we writen 110 pages!!

stoutfella

Greetings,

If I can still get in on this build, put me down for a Tamiya 1/48 A6M2 Zero.

Cheers,

Stoutfella

Sure! You're more than welcome. That's a great kit, I'm building one but kinda stalled right now due to concentrating on other stuff.

bsyamoto, Beautiful work.  The weathering, especially the paint chipping is first rate.  And that natural background is fantastic.  Once again, bravo!   Rick.
