That was an interesting photo. Next time I'll have to watch on my computer and not my phone.

Trey- She's looking good, I like the effect.

DoogsATX- Looks like a great start.

Reasoned - Don't make my Val a lone wolf, I need a wingman here in this!

So I've got most of the underside assembly done, aside from the payload.  Next will be some more cockpit pieces once they're dry and then I think I can start painting.  I just received the paints in the mail so I should be good to go!

Alright - it's not much, but I'm officially underway on the George. Interior green is a FICE (F- It, Close Enough) mix matched to images of N1K1 cockpits using the old eyeball. Tamiya Flat Green + Olive Green + Cockpit Green.

Elsewhere, the IP got its gauge decal last night, and a dose of Solvaset this morning.

Not as fast as Trey's tearing through his floaty version, but hey, progress!

Reasoned: ACK! Glad you said almost. I hate masking canopies most of all. I think the pre-cut masks are insanely over-priced but I hate to cut my own so much I'm willing to cough up the cash for them if Eduard makes one that fits the model.

BTW: I hope your wife has recovered and is feeling better.

Looking good, with all the chipping I think that Jap pilot might ask for his money back on the paint job!

Eric no I do'nt usually pime unless its a major blem or seam, none on this one at all.

Cliff thanks!

Connor applied the salt and away we went, the effect is a little more aggressive than usual but we're rolling with it. I'm geussing it was due to me not using Kosher salt this time. The sea salt crystals are much finer.

Bsyamato: Hey, nice collection there! I like how you do everything, aircraft, figures, ships, etc. I pretty much only do planes and tanks.

Reasoned: They all look pretty cool. Guess I am partial to Equsa's bomber but Ikeda's plane would be my second choice.

David: Really nice work there, she looks perfect in the bare primer.

Trey: Super job as always, the NM finish looks absolutely flawless.

Ohhh, I really like that one, I may be up for that challenge! I was thinking grey scheme as well, however for the GB if you are doing grey, I may go green.  I'm still up in the air with what I want to do as of now. Here is my progress on my Val.

Yeah I think I'm going with #3, not much fun in many of the PH Vals, save this one:

not sure I'm up for that.

That looks like the color of (forget the name) of the guy whom just finished one. I thought t was cool, but he did the flaps and tail in grey.

I have one in  my stash and was thinking all grey, but I really liked the amber or whatever he called it.

many thanx friend Bow Down

now it's time to reveal my secret, i have an airbrush

Big Smile but he don't need air to work.

Cliff real problem are the old finished kits, between have some giant like the victor and two 48 as f-111 and f-14. Also in the past i mostly build moden jets (ok not so modern, my builds stopped to the su-27, news planes as f-22-35 pak fa-50 etc really don't meets my intrest) but in the stash have again the b-17 he-111 and 177 etc.

WW2 monoengine in 1/72 really don't occupy so much space, will try to re-arrange the shelves this afternoon

this actual arrangment of main shelves

this above actually don't have the mig 25 but replaced with the ac chinook

and this the new with latest builds, all wipped in the forum

And are not all ...sigh Tongue Tied

Also will package some brother things that i don't need in my room.

Today the wind seems that rules, if i just try to put the zero out he could reach the japan in few times .. sadly LOL

She looks even nicer with the better photos Yes

Heh, running out of room for finished models- that's a problem I'd like to have. I'm closer to running out of room for my stash.

Thanx guys Bow Down

i hope not exagerated with paint chipping, but incidentally this was a trainer plane in war time!!

that's all for indoor, hoping for tomorrow (rising) sun Embarrassed

Now comes a big problem!!! i finished my shelves space ... the zero (and the others coming) have no place to put on. Last three years i builded more kits than in usual 10 years Bang Head and lots of larger kits are again to build .

Time to get more shelves ( 2 cents2 centsBoo Hoo ) and packing oldest finished kits
