Dang dflu!! This thing looks right on!Yes. I know you put some hard work into this one just following the build and it all shows here in the completion. I'm really glad  you were in this GB and contributed this masterpiece to the list of awesome builds that are already in place. Thank you for your input and advice along the way here. Will be pulling off another GB after this one has closed in June towards the end of the year. Some folks already know about it but I'll put it out in a feeler in a few months just to make it all official. The subject of the upcoming GB will be centered on the type of bird that Eduard will be releasing in May (hint, hint).Big Smile

Give me a pic with a full length shot and I'll be more than happy to post it on the completed builds list buddy! Thanks again dflu!!

She looks perfect, dflu! All the work you put into this beauty really paid off big time!

Handi: I love the weathering you did there!

Joe: Am I still go as the co-host for that one? Wink

Dflu I applaud your mix of different color scheme with masterful use of masks and making the finish perfect, like you said, if it looks right it is right !

Thanks guys. I feel like this is my best work yet and it was a blast to share it. You'll never know how encouraging it is to hear your kind words. I used to be a really lazy builder that would just throw stuff together. Being able to share on forums has made me step up my game. So thanks for that!!

Joe, I have a feeling your next GB is going to be a good one. Hmm...I think I've got something I can muster for that one. Not the Eduard box...Revell popped a nice one out just recently....but an Eduard Brassin engine has been released that looks pleasing. :) Can't wait. Let me do the Easter thing with the little ones and I'll PM you the pic for the front page

dflu: Way to bring that beauty home! Masterful work dflu. All around. It has certainly been my pleasure to watch you at work. That one is certain to be an eye popping show stopper.

My Easter vacation here in Seattle has been just so ho-hum. I mean my family has me doing stuff like this:

I mean, sheesh! What are you going to make me do next? Go to the restoration facility for the Legends of Flight Museum. No, No, Okay!Big Smile Can you say BLISS!!!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Wow Joe... The horror. I feel so bad for you. I'll take your place if you like. Wouldn't want you to have to suffer any longer.

I hope you share more pics for us less fortunate. :)

Ditto. No idea AM did a 190. I'm looking forward to that one myself. Its too bad they went bye bye. Their avenger was freaking killer. I've got a couple other kits of theirs laying around. Isn't Academy (or Italeri maybe) reboxing a lot of their stuff?

I don't know how much Academy is doing but I know their Avenger line up is straight  up AM. The instructions are supposed to suck azz though for the Academy boxings. I'd like to build one of their SBD-4's or 5's though for sure!!!!

Everybody's instructions pretty much suck compared to AM's. One of the last ones that actually listed descriptions of the parts you were glueing as well as the textual instructions which didnt read like they had been translated by Google translate.

I haven't done much of the AM yet but so far it looks like a really nice kit.  I probably wont do it justice, being one of my first plane attempts but I'll give it a go.  I was impressed with the lack of flash which is always a nice surprise.  And the fit is good so far too! I'll post some pics as soon as begin painting!

Ahh...baloney..you'll do great, Cody. We are here to answer any questions you may have. A number of guys built the Eduard kit, so if it is indeed the same plastic you're in good hands.

Handi -- incredible work! You can be justly proud of this one, the overall balance and feel is excellent, and you've carried off some particularly fiddly upgrades. Salute!
