Son Of Medicine Man
Hi Everyone,
More progress on Lt. Colonel Don James's Hoosier Hotshot. I added some lettering to the front instrument panel:
I also painted the backside of the headrest, ejection seat rails, and the armor shield that goes behind the pilot's head:

Nice panel there Ken!
Hello from the electronic nightmare world! First, the little TV in the hobby room has been conking out on me! I spent half the day Sunday driving around looking for something. What I picked out was out of stock, and what I ended up with, I don't like. It also got some bad reviews online and will be going back.
My little MP3 player zonked out on my trip! I usually plug it into the deck so I don't have to put up with all those commercials and endless repetition. It froze up and wouldn't respond! Happily, after being allowed to fully discharge its battery, it has recovered.
Internet! The last several weeks, I have had non-stop disconnects and low speeds! Often my speeds were clocking in at around .47 Mps and I signed up for 1.5! Turns out, (or so they say) a recent upgrade to fiber optics is causing problems for old hook-ups! Solution: plug me in to the new system-and by the way, do I want an upgrade as long as they are at it? I don't know..... It's only 5-6 dollars more! Well, ok. Oops! A problem! Your 15 year old modem won't work with the new set-up! Aw, gee! I can't really afford a modem... No sweat, dude! I fixed so you get it free!
I wonder if it is just a way to jump you into an upgrade....
Anyway, I'm now at 7 Mps, tested at Speedtest.net as 6.7 Mps. Plus it is wireless, so if i end up with a laptop, I'm set. It also looks like it will network up to 4 devices as well. It means me and 3 of my imaginary wives and girlfriends can share the connection!
In the meantime, I worked on some of the PE blade antennae:
Some actually will have decals as well!
Also worked on the cockpit for the Voodoo. Decal placement was vague, so for all I know they may be upside down. I wanted OOB and that's what this is.
Some of the decals are out of register as well...( OOB! OOB!-remember!)
The side panels are, well...... a bit cartoonish? (OOB! Think! OOB!)
Ken, a quick question for you: under wireless set up for this thing, it shows a security code/passphrase: am I protected against somebody using my connection? It will also allow me to turn off the wireless radio. Would this be safer until I actually need the wireless?
Jim
