Overhead interior shot, there are a lot letter I just wanted to show one lots of guys can use
I was checking Amazon, but its still not on there. If its not there next month, I may go direct as well.
I did spot this on Amazon though. I have a couple from this series, but hadn't spotted this one before. So I will be adding this as well.
Keep pics like that one coming Phil. I'll see if I can post a couple later on tonight.

If anyone has a specific areas they want to see I'm happy to help out, strictly to show how good the book is as advertising - I'm sure it will persuade you all to buy a copy
Thanks Phil. I've got the Aero Detail book on this thing too if you need anything. I'm finding that info on this beast is very limited as opposed to a mainstream fighter like a 109 or 190.
Well guys I'm finally finished with the initial camo on the fuselage of this birdie. I'll be working on the nose section(which finally took the primer!!!!!) and then I'll be working on the field applied camo (which thank God there wont be much in the way of tape mask off).
Here's the latest shots:
and .................the other side!
Looking good Joe!

Looking pretty good Joe, and good to hear you finally got the nose looking good with the primer.
I've been making some slow progress on the cockpit, I'm almost done. I'm figuring out how to work with PE metal and it's not as challenging as I thought, and so far I've only lost one piece. Hopefully I'll be able to get some bench time this weekend and get pics posted early next week.
On my bench: Academy 1/35 UH-60L Black Hawk
Looking good joe, be nice to see that nose on.
Bob, that's the joys of PE when a small metal part goes ping off your tweezers. I have given up even trying to look for them now.
I didn't look for very long. I'm sure I'll find it a few years from now and wonder what it's from.

Thanks for the replies fellas! Hopefully I'll get that nose on this weekend sometime and start with the field applied camo!!!
Looking forward to seeing those pics Jim!!
Ok dudes! Got the nose installed and the initial camoflage applied. I'll be painting the field applied RLM 79 next and then after that it's topside mask off time and then the bottom gets painted. A little unorthodox way but it's what I'm used to. I left the two "arrowhead" splinter patterns off of the cowl due to the field applied camo will cover those. Why make it harder right?
Here's todays shots:
I will say this in closing this post. I sometimes wished I would have displayed the engine on this kit due to the fact that if you turn this thing upside down and look through the rear of the air cooler you see everything that aint there. True the back side of the air cooler is there but it looks like what it is. A blank hole with the back side of the air cooler makeshifted in there. Not cool! Would have been nice if Hasegawa would have made or molded in a makeshift engine block there a the minimum. But then again I'm not going to display this model upside down. lol
P.S.---Doug:You'll be happy to know that my bench is cluttered.............refer to the two tools at the lower R/H corner of the pic. I figured, "He'll be proud!" LOL
Looking good, now the brave bit, adding the 76 on top of that. Good luck.
Thanks Bish! Don't worry too much about the 76. I've got plans.....................................................
Oh yeah............you meant the 79....yeah.....I AM sweating that. I think I'll manage. Have to find a way to lay a pattern down first but I already have an idea for that too.
Quick update on my model. I'm applying decals currently and will take photos before the weathering starts. Has anyone noticed yellow lines on the fins of the centerline bomb. My instructions call for the forward edges to be painted for approx. 1/3 or so. It's easier to see what they call for so I'll include a pic of that as well. I just don't recall ever seeing that before.

Looking at the info I have I cant find any markings on the fins. Have a look at the picture below
Thats forn the books Bish and I have been talking about, cant say its 100% right as I've seen people paint the bomb light blue not green as this shows.
Hope its some help
Mike, I have found this site very useful for ordinance.
www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/.../bombs.html
The bomb in question looks like the SC 500, which was light blue with a yellow tripe on the tail fin. But if filled with a certain type of explosive, it had a yellow ship stencilled instead.
LOLOL... Joe, Your getting there! LOL... Yeah, during the build process I have to stop from time to time and "Defrag" the work space! LOL...

So finally getting the cockpit finished and it went into primer just now. As I'm building a 1/48 for a friend that and my 1/32 are at the same stage and they got primered side by side. The difference is amazing
1/48 on the left 1/32 on the right
WOW, if that's the difference between a 48th and 32nd, imagine what a 72nd would be like. Nice work Phil.

Nice work Mikey. I love those Italian markings on anything WW II.
Nice work Mikey. These bombs were German and would indeed have been on the German aircraft. They are very hard to see on pics and I am not sure if its just a case of not being able to make it out of if its not there. But I wouldn't worry about it to much.
That camo looks KILLER mikeymize! Good work!!!!
Well I've finally had a chance to work on my Stuka, DIdin't get the most recent picture but as of last night I have all the major parts glued on and i am filing and filling seems.
