Many of the guys here are/were in either one of said GBs and I think all of them know how addicting 190s are... Look who's talking Wink

I think holding us all back will be hard, but if there's anyone that can do something like this, it's Bish! It worked with the 190 GB as well...

I know what you mean john. I have an 88 and then two tanks to do before I even think about starting the 335. Only after that will I get to my Stuka.

I hate it when that happens. I placed an order for AFV's T-34/76 at Hannants just to find out it was 1/3rd off the next week...

Guess it could have been worse, they could've had it 50% off the next day!

Anyway I'm going to order some turned aluminum cannons for my kit. Comparing pictures online there's a world of difference between the kit parts and aftermarket. Might as well add the Eduard PE as well.

David, not sure who makes metal barrels for that kit. But Aires have resin ones. I used the 72nd ones last year and they were great. You can either get just the gun or the gun with the pods.

Okeedokee guys. After alot of thought I have decided on which Stuka kit I'm going to build first. I have 3 identical kits save for the last one I got from another participant in this GB that has skis. I'm going to go with the later and convert it back to a B-2 since I already have all the decals and Aires "double throw down" update set for it. So here's the kit I'll be going with followed by a picture of the AM goodies along with a box of spare parts that I'm sure I'll end up stealing from at some point in this build.

The kit:

and the spare kit with some of the goodies:

and some more goodies:

If there were ever a Hasegawa Royal Class kit this is probably what it would have in it!!! LOL

The last pic is an interior set exclusively that I will use on my next Stuka build that will be all closed up. The Aires update box has all of these in it already.  For those of you who know me.............yes I'll be opening this one up to display all I can. And thanks Greg for the kit bubba!!

Thats the plan Nathan. I have two sets of decals actually for this. One is the red motif and the other a tan colored motif. If I remember correctly, the true color of the motif is unknown but I'm thinking about going red with it at this point anyway. There's always plenty of time for me to change my mind. lol

I take it the kits come with the normal undercarriage. Does it also come with a tropical filter?

I have looked and there don't seem to be any AM ones on the market. If it doesn't have one, it should not be that hard to make from sheet styrene, its pretty angular.

Hey there Bish. You are referring to the filter right?

Bish

Build roster.

I am going to do something a little different with the roster, which will hopefully be a little bit of fun and team spirit. The Ju 87 operated in flights of 3 aircraft, known as Kette. So builders will be grouped into Kette's filling spaces as you join. Each Kette will have its own Ju 87 related insignia which you can add to your GB badge once you have completed your build. Once all 3 of your Kette complete your build, you can add the Bomber Clasp in Gold to your badge.

Kette 1

Bish - Special Hobby 1/72nd Ju 87A-2

Schatten Spartan - Hasegawa 1/32nd Ju 87G-2

Nathan T - Italeri 1/48th Ju 87 D-5

Kette 2

Jester75 - TBC

Grey Snake - Hasegawa 1/48th Ju 87G-2

taxtp - Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-5

Kette 3

Greg - TBC

Mustang1989 - Hasegawa 1/48th Ju 87B-2

Theuns - Airfix 1/24th Ju 87B-2

Kette 4

P Mitch - Revell 1/32nd Ju 87D

falconmod - Revell 1/48th Ju 87D

Eagle90 - Airfix 1/48th Ju 87B-2

Cool idea with the Kette system Bish! Will be dropping in to watch this one,

Joe, ye, sorry, I was talking about the filter. The squadron in action book has line drawing of the two, I can get them scanned and sent to you if that would help.

ajd, glad to have you aboard. You are added to the roster.

Vance, thanks. I like to try and do something different and thought it might encourage a little friendly completion and encouragement. Nice to see you popping in, haven't seen you around much lately.

Hey Bish, you may have missed it but go ahead and put me down for that Hase B-2. Not sure on markings yet but seems we have some time to figure that out!

I havent decided yet tbh. I have so much on my plate right now that there isnt much thought process left to figuring it out yet, lol. Maybe once I finish this PzIII and Bison for Tigermans Afrika GB I will be able to focus on it more.

I know the feeling. It doesn't effect how I enter it on the roster, but will be looking forward to see what you choose.

I currently have the 88 for the DH build, then a Panther for the Longest day, Pz III for Erics GB and then a Do 335 until I get to my Stuka.

Sign me up too! I'm pretty sure I want to do a 1/48 Battle of France build, but I'm not sure at this point if it'll be an Airfix, Hasegawa or Italeri kit. I'll update after I do a little research.

I told you resistance is futile raven, the Borg are never wrong. Welcome aboard, I wil put you down as a TBC.

John, good choice. That's one of the haul of Stuka's I have in the stash. But I opted for the Academy kit which I built last year so not sure what I am doing with the Fujimi yet.
