Great looking work as usual Bsyamato, as Jack said the outdoors shots makes her look even better. Going to update your frontpage now.

Excellent work on the Kate, your outdoor shoots really work well with your subjects.

Looks great to me Bsyamato. I love how you get stuff like the chipping using only a brush. And amazing sharp, crisp lines on the canopy.
I'll wait till you get the outdoor photos to post you to the front page. If you want one of these let me know.
Nice looking Kate. Yeah, I think your pics could use some more light.
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Kate finished tonight
Added some scratch at least on green parts and at the end choose to put the classic torpedo
Asap outdoor pictures :)
Gamera Allan: Did you bring her back from Tokyo? Ahh, I gotta get over there someday...
Allan: Did you bring her back from Tokyo? Ahh, I gotta get over there someday...
Yes. Hahaha!
Oh, and you should go. Nothing like the smell shelves upon shelves of brand-spanking new kits and supplies. Brings you back to the 80s!
Bsyamato: You got it. As usual with Hasegawa looks like a nice kit.
Good subject Allan, wainting for works.
Cliff add this one on the rooster :)
Aichi E13A1 from Hasegawa 1/72
Actually all pieces on sprues
As i complete other two or three kits on 90% i'll start with it
Gamera Allan: Sounds good, nice to see some more ships here. I went ahead and put you down. I'm guessing 1/700th scale? If 1/350th let me know and I'll change it. Bsyamato: Very nice, looking forward to seeing her all done up.

Yes, its 1/700 scale. And thank you for the add.
So heres the kit. Would you believe I just bought this 2 weeks ago? Haha, sorry if I sound excited. I havent built something I just recently bought for quite some time. Usually the kit sits around for months or years, if it gets built at all. lol.
Hi Gamera,
Im about to finish my entry for the carrier GB. I think Id like to jump into this GB.
Please sign me up for a PitRoad JMSDF Haruna destroyer.
Thanks!
Thanks guys :)
Basically finished, just left a rack with bombs (the unit i reproduced seems not carry torpedos in the only avaible picture) that i found on additional sprues of tenzan .
Asap last upates :)

Great looking build...hope to be there one day.
Hunter
Bsyamato, your painting skills are second to non. Great work on another beauty.

On the bench:
A lot !! And I mean A LOT!!
2024 Kits on deck / in process / completed
14 / 5 / 2
Jack: Some very cool stuff there. The Claude does seem to be a bit overlooked as compared to the Zero and most later war stuff. I recently picked up two books about the Sino-Nippon war- the Chinese fought the Japanese Empire for nine long years.
Bsyamato: She's looking good as usual! As you said, not much left now.
Intresting closed canopy version of the Claude there :)
The Kate going on finish line..
Last night more updates: washing, satin finish (matt + satin acrilyc clears) and glued some more piece
I hope to finish tonight , at the next :)
Jack,
Whatever you decide I know it will be an awesome build.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
http://www.spamodeler.com/forum/
I've got a couple ideas (from the stash) to enter here, one of them include a resin model of the A5M - but won't commit till I have the bench cleared.
Speaking of the Claude, apparently there will be several releases over this summer, all in 1/48 scale. Finemolds has two, and are to be new tooled:
As well, an new oufit in the Ukraine named Wingsy Kits are doing the A5M2b:

BrandonK, nicely done on the Raiden.
Sound reasoning on keeping the chipping minimal, which often distracts from focusing on the graceful lines of some of these imperial aircraft.
Well done on the Jack Brandon
today worked on the Kate, glossy layer on decals before washing (no pictures) and painted and refined other pieces
At the next
Hey Brandon, she looks sharp! And as a home defence aircraft they probably didn't get very chipped and weathered, so good call there.
Thanks for joining us, going to put you up on the front page now.
Great build BK, such a cool looking plane.
Alright folks, I am calling the Raiden done.
Once the bird was painted I applied the decals which didn't feel like adhereing even with Microset and Microsol. They lift quite easily, and this may be due to the kits age. I then gloss coated the kit and applied Mr Detailer black and rust to bring out panel lines and rivits. Once that was complete I used silver and a tooth pick to apply some chipping along common accessed panels and along the leading edges of the wings and I also dry brushed silver on the wing roots to wear that area down. To be completely honest, I just didn't feel like using the Alclad and hairspray method this time, so I cheated and cut corners. It looks ok I suppose, the other method is better but more time consuming.
I sealed all that down with flat clear and then applied some rust color pastels to some areas to show more grime but not too much and I also used pastels for the light exhaust stains. I didn't want to over wear this one as most of the photos of these planes show them with only minimal wear and not overly worn like so many Japanese planes are depicted. I then sealed the pastels down using artists fixative. Using any other product will cause the pastels to pool and run. Not what you are looking for.
Oveall, this is a simple kit and fits together quite well. I really had few issues and all were very minor. If you like Japanese fighters this one is a must build.
I hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks for looking.
Good friend there- really nice presents!

Yep. a cutie from Tiger models that came in my AMX-10RCR 6x6. the camel is a Heller arab on camel and a Legionaire set. i was in a French phase and it was in the sale bin. Nice fit on all 3 figures. as always filling abd seam work but nothing bad. also picked up another 1/35 dinosaur kit.
