OK, calling the Snowspeeder done. Another awesome Bandai SW offering--I can't praise the level detail, fit, and plastic quality of their Star Wars line enough.
As mentioned per previous post, one goof--I didn't fit the rear panel correctly, and as a result there was a gap between the fuselage and the rear air brakes. I just slapped in some evergreen rods in the gaps, painted, and called it done. Mostly my fault, but because Bandai kits are designed to be snapped together without glue, a lot of parts have a very precise, tight fit, which paradoxically can be problematic if you're used to models with poor engineering/fit (god knows I am). You just have to trust what Bandai is doing lol. LUKE! ....LET GO....
And, yeah, it's silly to have the speeder in flying configuration with no pilots. However, in my defense, Bandai's figures are kinda out of proportion and I'm no good at painting humans so... \
In any event, sorry for the ton of pics (stick with it, a few goodies at the end).
Thanks for looking!

Rogues' Gallery....
Up next...this beast, Zvezda's SD. I've never painted a model this size, so this will be purely an exercise in painting. I have no idea how I'm going to approach, but I bought two with the intention of just having fun and experimenting with the first, and trying to light the second (which I've never done):
And these two arrived today...
Detail and molding looks even more impressive in person!
...and finally, this beast (note pen on box for scale):
And got this book last week. It's been great inspiration:
