Thanks guys! Just did a bit of finishing up the seamwork on the head, drilled out the 'main cannons' - I was going to modify them to be more accurate but I want to try and finish this before the end of the month! Oh, I still have to add the top handrail. Also double checked the legs to make sure there won't be any unsightly flash or gaps when I put the primer on.

Got the seams on the 'head' pretty much taken care of. Just have to tiddy up some bits here & there and add the handrail at the top.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Porkbits

Can't wait for the paint! :-)

PB

Believe me, I can't either! LOL Thanks for the encouragement everyone! Put these two parts together just so I could feel like I'm getting somewhere - though I did some work on the seams of the body. Clown

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Thanks SilentBob! Bottom part of the head getting clamped. Hopefully, there will not be as much of a seam to take care of!

The 'main body' drying. Still have to add some 'greeblies' on the back by the power packs but the seams on this isn't too bad.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Great job with the scratch building Lodni! Looks like some battlefield repairs or modifications. Nuc, that General Grievous kit looks nice. Bandai is going to be getting a lot of my money...

Surgery looking good! Are you going to weather the finish, or keep it clean?

Plodding along. The leg is done. Did some work on the turret, the insides of the 'power packs' and closing up the inseam area where the leg is HOLLOW!

Hope everyone had a fine Tuesday!

Gamera, those joints kind of blew me away also. Don't worry about the name, I will answer to about anything, just don't call me Stevie, lol.

And really nice scratchbuilding, Lodni! Great save. Scratching parts is one thing I haven't tried yet.

Bish, I don't mind the joints. If you consider it as an action figure you put together it is not bad. This is my second figure and I set them in my Black Series collection.

PB, the blaster came from Bish's side of the pond. Took about two weeks but it is cast from a Sterling sub-machine gun and looks to be quite accurate. Even has the machining stamps on it.  Company called Doopydoos (www.doopydoos.com)

The figures are nice, typical Bandai kit. I am still learning how to work with them.

Stephen

Lol, now THAT is a random site that you would never expect to have (some cool) SW stuff. Also a great name. :-) Thanks for the info.

I have a couple of the Bandai HALO Spruekit figures and they are pretty nice. I got the Commander Sarah Palmer one put together. The Master Chief I gave to my buddy so he could build with his kid. I recently replaced it - got it off Amazon for less than a US $20.

Nearly done with the 'Chicken Walker' leg! I need to let the top armor piece dry and attach it but it is essentially done. Sorry about the quality of the photos but you get the idea!

Hope everyone's Monday wasn't too bad!

Stephen*: Wow, the joints are molded movable on the sprue!?!? Gee friggin' whiz, I thought the whole thing of molding multiple colours on one sprue is amazing and this blows even that away!

* Funny when I called you NMT I remember your name but couldn't remember if you spelled it Stephen or Steven...sorry Embarrassed

Way to fight back against the carpet monster, Lodni. :-)

Whoa, where'd you get that blaster kit, NMT?? Looks to be resin. Is it standard-issue for Troopers? Definitely want to see you finish that. Propeller

I'm not a big figures guy, but the Grevious kit looks great (might have to buy for my kid). Love that Bandai included his guts.

Sounds interesting. I've been eyeing up the K-2S0 figure. At least on that the articulated joints don't look out of place, thats whats put me off some of the other figures they do.

NMT: Those are cool!

Lodni: Great to see you still hacking away at her.

I can't seem to get motivated again on the A-Wing. About all I did this weekend is spray the undersides and do some pre-shading on my Tempest for Bish's other GB. Hope I can be forgiven since I am making some progress on one of your GB's Bish...

Very cool Grievous and Blaster NMT!! Beer

Progress is a bit slow on the "field repair" of the 'Chicken Walker''s leg, but getting there.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Bob that is alot of nice work going into that old kit. Looking really good.

Lodni, nice progress on that AT-ST. Looking forward to your progress.

As for me I decided to try my hand at something different so I purchased the General Grievious kit. Started working on this during my lunch break at work and have about two weeks into this.

I also received this in the mail on Friday and I plan on starting this also.

Plan on having some fun!
