Updates on Zero (I think i'll going for a classic ... one of Saburo Sakai planes) , about three sessions:

The strange fact is that actually main hardest modify on yhe jake are ready.. just few mods to do to complete normal assembly

Gee, deepening the landing gear bays looks like a lot of work. I think I'd cheat and just attach the model to a base so you can't look up into them and see how small they are!

The hull assembly built up really quick and went together perfectly. This is one interesting looking ship.

Actually that 1/72nd Airfix Zero would be a cool idea for a GB. Our local IPMS club did a GB of those Hobbyboss 1/72nd quick-build kits a few years ago. Even a few of the car guys joined in.

Started the keel laying of the Akagi.

One again I find myself drag-tailing on my own GB...
Anyway the paint and decals are on the Type 95 Manchurian version. I'm touching up a few overspray spots here and there. Hopefully a filter applied at the end will dull down some of the contrast, just too bright right now!
The figures are cleaned-up, assembled and primed. I just need to finish up some American tank crew figures and hopefully I'll be ready to start on them.
