Bish, I knew I was going to get an Airfix for Christmas so this is moving to the top of the list.
1/72 Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Look forward to seeing waht you do with that Bill. I remember building an F-14 way back in the 80's which had the same markings as that box art. I think it would have been the Airfix, but the 1980's boxing. I am not surprised yours look old, it does date from 1975. I'll get you on the roster.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Bish please count me in the this 1:72 F-14A Tomcat. I have been afraid to touch this kit as it came in an auction lot and the plastic is brittle, decals are yellow and it just looks old dusty and delicate. That being said it also looks like a good challenge and a cool kit for the new year so I here we go!
Welcome to the group Bill.
Hey, Bish. I'm in with this:
Bill B 2.0
Standing by and ready sir.

Bish, I've been eying this GB and I can't resist!! I feel I need to add to my growing aircraft builds so add me to your growing list of participants! I just bought the new 1/48 P40 Warhawk and P-51D Mustang and I'm eager to build both! But let's not get TOO ambitious...

What ever you come in with Ben, it will be great to have you on board. I didn't realise Airfix had made bike kits, those look very nice.
Bish, I have to do something for this GB, you can count on me for at least one. I will check my stash and let you know what it will be for sure.
Here are my last few Airfix builds (not for the GB, only for the solidarity of this GB of course)
v/r,
Got you added Svenne, glad to have you and that kit on board.
Our first big one.....I like it.
Hi,
When I was a kid Airfix was the only brand arround .
Back in the early 70ies my Grandfather bought me the Airfix ME 109 1/24 for X-Mas.
At the time I had the experience of some 1/72 kits, but this was something completely different!
Grandmother was very angry with him, I guess she (quiet rightfully) thought that this was far to expensive a X-Mas gift.
Next year after he bought me the Scheherazade tales in 3 volumes, the man was my Hero!
So in Memorian: Could I join this GB with the Hawker Typhoon 1B - Car Door 1:24.
Svenne
Got you added guys, welcome aboard.
I missed when you posted this. I’m in with their 1/32 17 Pounder AT gun
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

Hey Bish, I'm in with a 1/72 scale P-51D Mustang.
Glad to have you on board Theuns, will put that on the roster.
Look forwardto seeing that one G.
lewbud Real G, That is a nice little kit. One word of caution from my build. You have to insert the main landing gear into the booms before attaching the bottom of the wings so be careful that you don't mash them during assembly or decalling. Mine are a little splayed out because I forgot they were there.

Lewbud, thanks for the heads up! I did notice the mains had to go in before the lower wings. Airfix Mag had an article where the builder trimmed down the locator tabs to allow the gear to go in afterwards. I might try that, since the legs are very delicate looking.
I don’t know what it is about this kit, but there is something special here. I can’t quite articulate what it is, but have felt it the moment I saw it in the magazines. More reason to pile on and get it done in 2019!
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s Airfix builds in January!
Hey Bish, put me down for a 1/72 Swordfish please, but will only start later.
