The Nimrod is a beast!  I looked at the instructions last night...45 steps!  And the bloody decal sheet...woah!!!!  Now I just have to decide which one to do.  Of course I'm partial to anything that was in Saudi with me, but there are a couple of other paint schemes I really like and think would look good hanging from the ceiling.  I have time to decide.  

 

 

It is a beast isn't it. I got mine second hand and it didn't have decals. I did manage to get some AM ones, but would have like to do the Falkland option with the sindwinders. I would deffinetly look good next to your Victor. I look forward to seeing how it builds up.

Got you added as a TBD for no. Those recovery sets may be old but they are still nice sets.

I'm in! The hard part is deciding what to build. 

- Never built a Spitfire (so ashamed!)

- Have a 1/48 Sea Hurricane, looks like a beautiful kit

- Found an RAF recovery vehicle set on ebay. Might pair it with a Mosquito with damaged landing gear. I dropped a box on it from the shelf above where it was sitting. Kind of looks like it took damage from an emergency landing in long grass....

Doing a count, I seem to have collected thirteen of them.

I have fifteen of them.

And I do hope all the Spits in the GB will not be detrimental to your health. 

I'll be jumping in with this nice little kit I have in the stash. I hope to get going on it in the next few months.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you what I was going to build. 

I thought long and hard...spent  some time in the "room of stash" and decided, if I was going to do a Sir Bish GB, I better go big or go home.  LOL!  So I have decided to do my 1/72 Airfix BAe Nimrod!  And with your permission, I'd like to do a second kit.  One that I pass frequently in the "room of stash", but seem to not pay it much attention.  Yet another 1/72 (in honor of Sir Bish) the Airfix Spitfire Mk Ia (and no, I will not be using the glue and paint that comes with the kit. LOL!).

Fantastic little kit.  I am up to about six of them.  What says Airfix better than the spit!
