Diving in with this group build with a Monogram 1/72 EF-111A Raven...

Looking over the parts, all seems to be here...

Here is the paint codes for the "Shades of Gray" on this bird...

This looks to be interesting.

Mark aka Tomcat

On the workbench: Monogram 1/24 '69 Pontiac GTO and a Monogram 1/67 (box scale) B-26 Invader

that is a beast of a kit. I seen one at orange blossom hobbies many years ago I think it was the tamiya kit any way it was  huge.

Well done crown, looks like it is ready to soar right into that clear blue sky!  Any preference on a picture for the completed builds post?

Real G: Sure, why not?  Welcome aboard!

Looking forward to more progress on the Phantoms 68, the only thing better than a Phantom is two Phantoms!

Say, I'd like to join the GB if that is okay.

I recently started the Bandai mini-kit of the Imperial Super Star Destroyer (ISSD).  It assembled in under 30 minutes, but it was started after 3/1/20.  I figure this one is going to cross the finish line really soon, and I am desperate to get ONE GB completion.  Please please please please....?

I'll try to get another "legit" build in afterwards.  Promise.  Big Smile

I've been pretty busy with work and things around the house so I've only got a little progress to show.

On Ed's bench, ???

Glamdring
post a picture of the kit before and as you go about building

Great stuff, many thanks!  I've just put the hull halves together, hope this doesn't matter too much - I'll post some pictures soon (something else that's new to me).

Hutch, absolutely, welcome to the build! I will add you to the roster.

This is my first time running a group build, so I am highly flexible one rules.  I'd say post a picture of the kit before and as you go about building, and then claim your badge when done!

Hi Glamdring - am I too late?  I've recently acquired Revell's Type VII C U-Boat (1/144 scale), which is definitely several shades of grey.  I've never done a GB before - is it a case of posting a few photos of the build as you go along, and then a few of the final result, or is there more to it than that?  Please forgive my ignorance.

  Thanks,

           Hutch.

Great looking F16

We are having temps here of arounf 2-7 degs C in the day time with wind and they are actually sayinbg we might have some light snow /sleet this week. This ony happens once maybe every 10 years or so.

And people say the climate is not changing LOL

As for the F4. I have boxed it for a few weeks and started a small 1/72 ancient matchbox Wulrus to see if I can get some moejoe back and then try the F4 again.

Robert. many thanks.

Theuns. Thank you the opposit is for me its June is hot and rains every afternoon. I hope you can cope with your hands with the cold temps.

The Valljo paint goes down well I had to thin it a bit more. I gave it a tamiya gloss clear coat them Two Bobs decals. The decal it self is very thin and grabs to the clear coat too hard. when the rains stop I'll seal the decals and start to weather. The sqd. is from our local base here in Homestead Fl. in 1989 they traded the F4 for F-16's now they are showing thier age.

Njce paint on the F 16 :-)

I have hit a slump in building any modes the past few weeks, we are moving into winter and now it is hovering arround 1 to 5 dec C....not ideal for fine work and old hands.

I’ll work on the other side today
