I'm in. 1/72 SAAB Gripen. Also I think the end date is 3/1/21 not 20

Good catch!  Yes it is for 1 year, not 1 day.  That would otherwise be cruel.  Big Smile

I'll add you, and welcome!

Depends on the kit. A Tamiya 1/72 P-51D could definitely be started and finished within a day.

Yes, but finding an uninterrupted day for modeling would be the real accomplishment!

I'm in with something.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

The 50 Shades of Gray Group Build!
Posted by Glamdring on Friday, February 21, 2020 8:47 PM

Alright guys, leave the romance books and fluffy hancuffs elsewhere, this build is dedicated exclusively to subjects whose primary color is a shade of GRAY.

Rules

-Start Date: 3/1/2020

-End Date: 3/1/2021

-Crossovers will be allowed.

-Kit can be started, but only is progress is within the first couple steps of instructions

-As long as it is gray, subject matter can be a planes, tank, car, figure, sci-fi, what-if camo, etc.  A variety is encouraged!

-Kit can be OOB or packed with AM, your choice.

-Some progress photos are necessary.

-Not mandatory, but try to have fun!

If there are any questions about if a subject is allowed, feel free to ask for a ruling.  I promise to try and not to be picky.  For instance, a battleships with wood decks or a figure in a gray uniform will be allowed.  Bonus points if some one does the entire figure in grayscale.

I will try and put together an eye catching badge, but if there are any talented artists I'd be appreciative!

If this is a success, I see this being an annual build with a different color each year!
