Oh WOW Bobby, excelent job!
And your the first to finish
Which pic do you want on the wall?
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Awesome Bobby! And the first one across the finish line too!

God, Family, Models...
At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
My aftermarket tracks came in so it's time to pull this one back out. The links are molded in plastic and the rubber pad needs to be glued to each individual link. Sounds like a lot of work but it really didn't take too long. About two beers worth of work!
Nice job Bobby. Turned out really nice.
Thanks,
John
TheMongoose That is SICK Eagle90!! What a great experience. All that glass really came out well. The overall color is pretty sweet to. Gonna look nice on the front page. 1st one done aren't you?

Thank you sir! The canopy mask was a life saver with that one. LOL! Again, it was a great kit. Highly reccommend it to anyone. First one done? Wow! And I wanted it to go on! It was that much fun to build!
Mopar Madness Awesome Bobby! And the first one across the finish line too!
Thank you sir! It was a great build and the GB is always a blast!
keavdog Nice job Bobby. Turned out really nice.
Thank you sir! It's a great kit and my first Finemolds kit. Very nice!
mawright20What aircraft is this?
It is a Japanese Ki-15 Recon plane.
Great kit!
@Modelcrazy,
Thank you sir! I always leave it up to the GB leader as to which pic goes up. Thank you for holding such a great and honored GB!
Wow, Bobby. Amazing work on the new kit. That will look good in any collection. Well done and so fast.

Those look like alot of work, but once they are done the kit seems to go quickly. I'm in love with this one.
Sounds liek a fun Group Build to participate in. Too bad I joined too late to join in. There's always next year.
Yeah, sorry DG, It's a fun one. BrandonK, who usually runs it, is going to be busy this year and won't be able to devote the time it takes to host a GB. Perhaps he'll run it next year.
Getting caught up from when I was last online ...
Bobby: Great job on the Babs!
Steve: That LCS has some impressive detail.
I've made a start on the F/A-18.
Looks like a solid start their Mach1. Super fast progress, can't wait to see this come together
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
Thanks to COVID I received my SS gift a little late. But it finally came today and I am super excited! Cannot wait to start on this thing! Thanks SS!
Great starts guys, your gifts are well thought out.
Still waiting on the last of the paint, at least it's now in country.
As an aside, both the vallejo and Mr Color cockpit colors are a good match for the colored eduard pit pe, the vallejo just a hair better to my eye.
Got most of the sprues primed with testors white laquer primer.
Have to hand it to the Germans, they built beautiful and effective ships in the mid to late '30's. A little ahead of most other navies.
Whoa BB, Santa must have liked your past builds! Extra good this year for sure. That's a killer gift. Looking forward to your take on it
Excellent gift BB, looking forward to your build

Got the interior tourquise shot yesterday, to first time spraying Mr Color. Happy with it so far. Will let cure a little longer and start glueing it up and placing the pit PE panels. Pics when I get that far.
Finally got the rest of the paints in last week, along with some for an F-105D in the near future.
Mr Color always clogs in my AB, but it does apply nice. The smell is powerfull. I like the looks of the MiG 21, looking forward to it.
I use their leveling thinner at 50:50 and havent had any issues with the Paasche H. With the shutdown of model master I've been buying mr color - I was an old school gunze fan
I love Mr Color paints, very durable. And yes, I too use Mr Color Leveling thinner about 60/40 ish, until it sprays without spitting. You can tape them up within 30 min to an hour and they won't lift or otherwise wear. One of the strongest paints I've run across. I spray mine through my Iwata HP-CS with a .35 needle.
Just used their regular thinner, at about 1:1. Saving the leveling for the exterior. Shot with a NEO, about 18 psi
Some more progress on the F-18.
