For a Tamiya kit, this thing is not turnig out to be very shake-and-bake :-D. Turns out some modeling skill is required for this particular kit.
I went to clean up and install he gun pods and notice the rear section did not seem very well molded. Testing fitting them to the wing made me wonder how the flaps would come down on the real plane. Not being familiar with this type, I assumed the rear section of the pod had to be flattened/sanded at an agle to allow for flap movement. After taking care of that , there was a big gap that needed to be filled...
I also continued work on the propeller...
