Hmmmm.... I've always wanted to do a Huey... Let me do some research and see if I can find a nice 1/72 Huey from my LHS (but don't count on it yet, since I'm kinda strapped for cash!)... Tongue [:P]

You can try looking for superscale or microscale sheets (there were a few I think).

I figure that I am going to have to paint/dry transfer my markings

Glad to have you with us.

As for me. Somebody is reading my post or something and then buying the kit i was going to buy. The italeri huey i was going to build is gone. the same thing happend to me with the Dday group build, I went to buy a C-47 that had been on the shelf for at least a year, and it was gone. So now I will shoot for another kit, I think it was a 1/48 italer air cav one.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the kit is seminar's 1/35 UH-1b with Cobra Co's UH-1B backdate set (needed new rotor blades due to plastic damage from the rubber ammo belts and the earlier non-armoured seats) - will post some progress pics when I get my bench cleared

I'll definately get in on this one, with a 1/35 one from Academy or a 1/72 from Italeri.

I'm in with an Augusta-Bell 412 in 1/72 from Italeri.
And should I finish it in short time I'll also start working on the UH-1N to AB412 conversion.

John,

No problems at all. Put me down for the Tamiya/Italeri UH-1B (RAAF).

Cheers

Hey rebelreenactor,

Count me in.

Question, does my AH-1W count as a Huey variant? Sorry for the stupid question but I'm not a helo expert. If it doesn't, no big deal, I'll just build something else.

Cheers
