Jason,

Paint the mottle on the 109 to the areas where it has to go, then put the decals on to finish it off, this aircraft has a dirty appearence, I used old dirty thinners to get the grotty look on mine, strangly enough when JG27 arrived in Africa their aircraft were just straight sandy brown over light blue, but some months later they copied the Italian form of cammo, to all their aircraft.

Roy,

Thanks for the kind words on the birds, the 109 has been repaired after a shop display and the Beaufighter a repainted OOB TFX was MB-T and used some time ago as a magazine review subject, the invasion bands are sperate pieces of Black and White decal film. Sadly it's sister subject the thimble nose version of the TFX as QM-F has been [so called] lost along with several others by the shop.

This is my Tamiya M4A3 Sherman for the Pacific GB. I need to add decals, the hull MG, some stowage and a little weathering and then I am done. Totally OOB and not really my best effort, I'm afraid. I had issues with the track. Comments and suggestions are welcome

Guy's,

Thanks for the kind words on the Beaufighter rebuild, what I've been doing in the past week is unrelated to the subjects of this GB, the things we do either when building models for other people, organizing the next runs of resin components and being President of a Model Club squeezed in between.

G'day Roy,

We cover odd 24th scale, 35 scale, some 72 scale and a lot of 48 scale, new items for this year are for the Tamiya 48 'Grand Slam' Lancaster conversion for either the B I/III standard bomber or the B I special [Dam Buster] and the B XVI Mosquito bomb bay, I'll email a complete list to you.

Guy's,

Here is something a friend of mine built, 90% is scratch built using the Tamiya LRDG Chev kit, a set of Scale Magic resin wheels and a lot of time to make, it's based on a 9th Div AIF vehicle when this Division was returned home [from Nth Africa], prior to their deployment to the Pacific Theartre.

Jason,

Your progress on the Ki-44 looks fine from here.

Josh,

Your progress looks good, are they the Eduard masks on the conopy ?.

Roy,

Thanks for the kind words on the Chev, my involvement in that project was supplying the resin wheels, the model was lent to us early last year for a display with the attention this model recieved [a long with some critisisum about the hood position], some modellers are hoping to see it in kit form. Sadly this model is now a permenant resident to a Museum.

And I am done. Well, here is my finished Sherman. had a little booboo with the decals. Apparently I bumped one of the Classy Peg decasl, causing a small wrinkle, which in turn made the diamond below a tad crooked. You need to look close, but I know it's there. Sometime in the future, I will find a replacement and fix it. Also, I found a pic of my tank and was sort of bummed it had nothing in the way of storage, so I left it off. Suggestions and comments are welcome.
