Here we go.... My effort at a badge for this GB. It's only my second go at making one so go easy on me. If you like you can use it, but if someone can come up with something better use it. Here it is:

BTW Lobbie, Your builds are looking great. What kit is the A20g? Can't wait to see them finished.

G'day Folk's,

Having painted the neutral grey on the A20g, I got started on this gem it's a Nakajima B6N2 Tenzan or 'Jill'. I've shown what assembly and paintwork I've completed so far, with this kit.

This will be an OOB build with whatever weapons options

Folk's,

A little more progress on the A20g Boston/Havoc. 'Green Hornet'

The construction stage so far in this build.

The conopy roof hatch, which I had drilled the holes into, all so showing the resin raft to be fitted above and behind the pilot seat.

Thanks. i was thinking of the night fighter but i don't like the look of the two seater.

I'm still looking for pictures to use in a GB badge. I've scoured the net for a few days and will keep looking til I find something. I'm looking for some thing that isn't just a picture of an aircraft or tank or ship, because there is so many different subjects being built. Maybe we can have a few different badges, one each for aircraft, tanks and ships. That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll get back to you when I find something.

Hi folks, i'd like to jump in on this GB if i could. i'm going with a P-38J just to be different since no one else is building it, and i happended to pick it up today. it's a 1/48 Monogram and comes with Major Richard Bongs' markings so unless i find another version that gets my interest i'll go with that

Guy's,

I've amended the paint chart I posted on page 1 to include the colour of the A.V.G. P 40's that a couple are building for this GB. The FS numbers are included with the updated post.

KINGTHAD, your 'Jack' is looking good.

I've had a discustion with another member of this build, in regard to an album for hosting the pix of everyones build for this project, it's a 'free acount album' and what was mentioned is that each member can post 4 pix of their completed model, this would be fair to all concerned. The name on this album is PacificGroup, contact me on either addy www.scalemagic.net [contact us page] or scalemagic2004@yahoo.com and I'll pass the addy and password by return email.

Trev,

Your welcome to join in on this GB, the 72 Tamiya Corsair is scaled down from the 48 kit, it goes together well with very little vices.

Hope this helps a little

razordws, you should be able to order a "optivisor" thru your LHS or if there is a Harbor Freight in your hometown they should have one.

Hi guys, sort of been ignoring this build but now that Mad Allied Day is over I can get started. My PE set for my 1/700 Essex should arrive this week and I'll be good to go. May need some advice on attaching the railings. Also, I hear people talking about the optivisor but am wondering where you would buy something like that?

Ping Tang... I was thinking Jeeves picture in his signature with the Dive Bomber going after the Japanese carrier would make an awesome badge for this (resized of course). Wonder if he would let us use it? Just a thought.

Progress of my A 20g Boston/Havoc as 'Green Hornet'

This is based on the old AMT 48 kit and Not the current Italeri re-issued release, [which incidently has a decal option for 22 Sqn RAAF as DU-C]. The harness [shown in the pic prior to completion of the buckels[, the seat is a resin seat of my own production, the brass wire mesh is cut to shape and fitted to the inlet of the Narcelle.
