I'll have a go at making a badge, but if anyone else feels like making one and can't host it, I'll be happy to host it for you on my photobucket account. Just email it to me and I'll upload it. BTW, what would everyone like to see in the GB badge? I've got a few ideas but any suggestions would be welcome.

Guy's,

Feel free to do a GB badge, I never looked into it, so any help would be appreciated.
I've got a few emails from some of the members involved in this project, some have had problems getting their emails to me, for all I can be contacted on the contact page of www.scalemagic.net or scalemagic2004@yahoo.com
I've almost built the A 20 Havoc, just needs the usual seams and joins filled before painting and decaling. The B 24 will be started in the next week or so. My 3rd option is either a 'Rex' fighter and if time permits either a 'Jill' or a 'Grace'

As the RAAF Officer Training School closes down for a couple of months shortly I'll have more time to do something on the 'My Model Projects', instead of them left in half built or unpainted states. Also I recieved a call from a customer of mine who is a member of the fsm forums who has asked if he can join in on this GB project.

For those doing the AVG P 40's, I'll amend the paint post on page 1 to include the colours for those aircraft, later today

Started the Okha (Baca Bomb) last night. Will have to do a little scratch building in the pit area. May even complete an F4F-4 Wildcat.

Folk's,

Thanks for the kind words, regarding the paint up-date, it's always been a question to every forum, I thourght it would be helpfull to all if I put the info in this forum.
I'm toying with the idea of setting up a photo album, early next year, for this project so that all the finished models can be shown together in the one place for all to see, if you have a sujestion to doing this I'd be glad to hear it.

Pingtang:- I never even thourght of doing a badge, for this project.

Folk's,

The question of paint for what and who is asked countless times, to help all in an attempt to answer, I've listed here for all, the colours for the various Armed Services and where posible the FS Number.
Floquil [Polly Scale] is the left hand colum and Model Master is the right hand colum, the FS Number is in [brackets]

A.V.G.

Humbrol # 118 = FS30219 - Sand
Humbrol # 117 = FS34102 - U.S. Dark Green 42
Humbrol # 126 = FS26270 - Undersurface Grey
These paints were manufactured by DuPont based on the British day fighter scheme, as the AVG P 40's were cammoed in the RAF day fighter scheme of the time.
