                        Well, I had some time tonight while waiting for the Formula 1 to come on TV, so I had a go at doing a badge. My photoshop skills aren't the greatest, but I don't think it looks too bad. If you like it, put it in your sig. If you can, could you host it yourself? Just put it in your own photobucket album. If you need to, you can use the one straight from my album;

                        I keep meaning to do a badge for this Group build, but never get around to it. I think we'll start the Moto GP thing up. Should we start up a whole new thread for it? Or just keep using this one? I'll start work on my M1 soon, I've got the spiderman decals on order. Looking forward to starting it.

                        I'll try and have a look into doing a badge soon, it might get some more interest in the build.

                        I'm totally in on the idea to combine this GB with a M1 one making it a MotoGP version. I think that would bring it to life again! What I don't like is that terrible idea of SeaBees concerning the badge!!! I almost choked on my breakfast reading about it Big Smile [:D]

                        Me still busy on West version. Made some nice progress over the weekend, at least.MotoGP GB sounds great. That way the design of the badge (for you artistic types!) will be much easier.... What about *evil grin* just a blue background with a yellow 46 on it! Wink [;)]

                        That sounds like a good idea. Might get a bit more interest if we make the subject a bit more open i.e MotoGP GB. As you say it looks like the same peeps that are on here just now that are up for an M1 GB.

                        With the increase in MotoGP kits available we might get the numbers up that way. Count me in anyhoo.

                        Haven't seen this GB for a while.....How's everyone going? I thought of making a badge for the build a while ago, I even started on it, but nothing happened. I'll see what my limited photoshop skills can do.

                        There's been talk of a Yamaha M1 group build lately. I don't think there has been a huge amount of interest in it (just the same mob as this one I think). So how would you feel if we maybe combined the two builds? We could call it the Moto GP bike group build or something. Let me know.....

                        A badge would be good. I'm not much up on these sort of things though, so that's not me volunteering to make one!

                        This build seems to have petered out a bit. Not been any activity for ages! I'm still at the same point with my build, waiting for the MS-10 spray before I can go any further. Although I have discovered the wonders of www.hlj.com so have ordered them off there as well as the M-1 upgrade parts (metal forks, radio gear etc etc).

                        So hopefully the kit should be finished soon. I just hope I can remeber what to do when the paints arive! It's been about 3 months since I went near my modeling desk!

                        What you need to do is upload your pics onto a server ( like www.photobucket.com). Then once you have uploaded them, copy the images URL to your message and then put the {img} and {/img} tags around it (but replace the { brackets with the [ ones).Or, if you use photobucket, there is a line underneath the image called img. Just copy that whole line and paste it into your message.

                        If you don't do a "quick reply" like I'm doing now, but a "Reply to topic", you get an image insert option.
                        Otherwise, if I remember correctly, you insert you url between (IMG) and (/IMG) - just replace the round brackets with square ones - I had to do it that way otherwise the post wont work and will pick up the "and" as an invalid url...

                        Looks good mitch. I did the same thing with my bike. I don't like taking the fairings off all the time, so I took some pics of it before I screwed them on. Great work on your bike so far.

                        Got some update pics available. Just some shots of the bike with the fairing off. I don't like messing about and taking the fairing off all the time, so I think I'll keep these for prosperity! Got some pics of the front fairings decaled up as well, but I forgot to download them from my camera. Maybe just wait until the build is completed before posting those. Here they are.........

                        Excellent Daniel! Nice job. Everything on that bike looks just right. A tribute to the quality of the tamiya kits yet again, although it takes alot of work to make them look that good as we all know!

                        Well.....here it is. My '03 Rossi RC211V. I built it pretty much out of the box except for some carbon fiber decal on a few parts. I noticed on the bike, that alot of the parts were painted black so I didn't bother covering everything in CF. Hope you like it.









                        Now it's onto the M1 group build.

                        Looking forward to seeing these completed bikes. I've done all that I can for now. Painted the wheels and mounted them on the frame, and also got the forward fairings decaled up and clear coated. Pics as and when I can get them uploaded. Still need paint for the rear cowl and tank..........Disapprove [V]

                        On the subkect of carbon decals. I would go with media mix if your outwith the US. very good price and fast shipping. I purchased some 1.24th twill weave from media mix for my M1 build as all of the fiber on this bike is his kind. Got it through last week and think it maybe slightly too small a scale. The print is definatley more grey than black. Think I'll order some 1/20th to see if thats any better. A word of warning.........
