Probably are, but then again you COULD try to use a current generation panel to at least make it look decent. Im probably going to install an FA-18 or F-15 one in mine if there is no detail.

That's tru sarge, he could, but he doesn't have to. Smile [:)] I don't think any of the JSF kits out right now are terribly accurate- most of the info is still classified, so I imagine cockpit detail is fictitious.

Sounds like a cool idea. What 48th scale kits are available? Would this be strictly builds of the current prototype, or maybe throw in a little "what-if" and do some different camo schemes and foreign-user markings as well?

Oh, and watch your language, "sarge."

Hey will, excellent idea! I've been wanted to add the JSF to my list of unbuilt kits for quite a while.

I was kind of hoping to wait until there were some more offerings out there (other than the italeri and revell kits), mostly to get a production F-35 kit rather than the prototype.

Ok, so if i can find one and am satisfied with the kit, I'll do an F-35.

But even if I can't I'll see what I can come up with for you in terms of a badge.

Btw, my brother has started a super hornet GB for early next year. Perhaps that might interest you ?
