theres no such thing as a speed bump in a truck. There also no such thing as "center divider" eitherWink [;)]

O and Whites sox. no no no no no. As soon as the angels buy the umpires some A) Glasses, or B) new eyes, the series will turn around. I swear every call in the game last night was crap!

Shields picked that guy off by a mile. Called safe, then he scores. Finley had catchers interference. He should have been given first. The bases would have been loaded with 1 out and the top of the line up coming up. Instead it wasnt called and the sox got a double play. The white sox should only have had 4 runs. The others came in crappy calls. And then they give up, put in the crappy pitchers to save up for the next game and the crappy pitchers give up more runs. I seriously thought the umpires were supposed to be good in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind that the Angels were losing, but these calls are really starting to get to me.
ANd the best part is, There was no such thing as a sox fan since 1959. Except for that 95 year old guy.
So now, with my Angels losing, I am rooting for the Cardinals all the way. I want a four game world series. White sox- cardinals, white sox losing.

I now have a new team to add to the hate list. especially with that pierzynsky guy, I hate him!Angry [:(!]

I need paint, black, dark yellow and white.

Wow i just thought for second that this was my first weekend without marching band in it. Except on Friday and that was sad. We had our homecoming game and we lost of course( you can always count on Stafford VArsity to lose to everyone but the worst teams) WE DIDNT EVEN GET PAST THE 30 YD LINE. It was sad. But then there was a um well best to out details someone ran across the field in an abnormal way and tryed jump over the fence and fell over it. Ouch. But yeah it was fun for Marching Band.
Anyway to make this post"legal" heres my progress.....$0.00

lol. Today me and my friend went to take some Batting practice at my school. I brought my truck on the field so we could put our stuff in to leave. Were putting stuff in the truck and then the sprinklers came on!!!!! Of course my windows were open so the interior got sprayed to hell! I got in my truck rolled up the windows, and the sprinklers went off.

Then when we were leaving the only way out was through the Band/ coulor gaurd practice. No problem right? Well, big problem when your screwing around. There was an open space that I thought I could drive through and not get in the way of their practice. So Im going fast messin around, and halfway throughI see the color gaurds flags poles or something lined up. I swerved, missed them and quickly corrected myself before I hit the ladder stand thingy. lol, whoops. I think I missed them.....

Guess on only 3? wow. you should see me trying to take a, Math or German test! German tests, the whole thing is usually a guess.
Math, I forget the formulas alot so have to guess alot.

Surprisingly the best class for me right now is History. lolWink [;)] and then Chemistry, and English.

good news: the 1/700th CVL kit I got off of eBay for 25 pounds came today! it is not even a foot long! if youre wondering why I got it, my grandfather served on CVL-25 in the Pacific from 43-45
No one actually makes a CVL kit, so theyre very expensive...

PSAT here today too. wierd. I didnt take it though, I hate tests, whether they matter or not.

Matt sounds like a neat idea. Just be careful if you're putting HJ in it though. My research indicated that they were often not fighting with regular wehrmacht. (they would hold a certain part of the line with the wehrmacht on either side of them.) They were usually alone though.

wow, we had to take the PSAT's here too. had a sucky race. need to get stuff done if im gonna take my bunker to Syrcon this Sunday.

ive got an idea for a 'last days' dio. its in some city, not sure which, but its why i got dragaon's 251/22, along with tamiya's t-34/85 (dont worry, im gonna fix it up). i heard once about how at the end of the war, the germans were so short of tanks, they began mounting anti-tank guns on halftracks and using them for that purpose. i always thought that was a perfect expression of desperation. my idea's got the halftrack, knocked out either at a corner, or at a road-block at a corner in a town/city, with the germans retreating, the russians charging, and maybe a few kids upstairs dropping malatovs. my only problem would be how to pose the casualties in the halftrack, without being grotesque, or covering up that awesome interior to the vehicle. that scene from BoB comes to mind when the halftrack gets hit outside that town in holland. guys inside would be torn to shreds, and the outside could catch fire...maybe an engine shot.....

finished my turret, only the tracks left. Should I cement the indys together? they seem to stay without the glue.
Had to take the PSAT today, the english was very easy, except when they used weird words in a couple of questions in the beginning

Ive got some ideas from that movie too. I want to do the 88 and crew (actually a russian 85mm aa gun in the movie) I have several ideas for this one. I also have a Hitler youth in berlin dio planned. I have seen a few kids with panzerfaust but will probably sculpt most of them.

oh, and BTW, best line in the movie, "have you heard the news from outside?" 'was?' "Berlin is a city of where houses. Wheres my house?"
lol.

well, my quest for inspiration for this dio, has led my to another idea for ANOTHER DIO!!! i promised myself that i wasnt gonna start this one until i finnish everything else, my idea: comes from the movie Downfall, which i saw yesterday (the one about hitler's last day) very good movie, ive seen myself talking to the tv during that movie, along the lines of swearing at the characters, i realized hitler was a bigger moron than i pictured him, eva braun is too perky and too good of a nazi "yes my Feurer" "right away mein Feurer" and after that movie, at the end of the movie i also wanted goebels and his wife to be alive again, so i could have the pleasure of giving them a slow, painful death, with a hammer....
best quote from the movie: (drunk german) "drink up, (as in vodka) Fuerers orders"
ANYWAY! my dio idea is of a little kid with a panzerfaust in a ditch, in berlin, in front of a T-34, except, idk where i could find a fig of a little kid let alone one holding a panzerfaust, anyone see one??

All righty i'm back. I got 1st place junior AC, 2nd place military vehicle, 2nd place ships and overall Best Junior Modeler (for my bf-109 i did for the last GB.) As for my haul, it is extremely small. Modelkasten tracks for a T-34, CMD resin turret and a small 1/72 fw-190 kit. That's it. Pretty good competition for best junior anyway, because there was tons of junior autmotive and several junior figs as well. The 109 was the same one that won an award at the Nats. Big Smile [:D]Approve [^]. So, any progress pics from anyone?

looks good comrade. only thing is i dont think youd want that piece on top so silvery. if its supposed to be bare steel, then use something a dark grey. silver works only with cut steel, or very recent scratches. BTW- if you ahd such a hard time with the skirts why dont you jsut leave them off? it happens to lots of vehicles in the field, and they mgiht not be able to repair it wuickly anyway.

Ok. I didnt. It sucked. but anyway:
here are some preliminary results:

luckily most of this will be covered up by the track skirts and snow when i make a dio.
By the way, I had to cut huge chunks out of the tracks skirt so theyd fit the wheels. Youd thing the company would either do this for you or have something about this in the instructions....Banged Head [banghead]

broke a superglue tube trying to put this together.
