Ok all.  Got the bird to the paint shop.  1st of many trips i'm afraid.  This is the base sand color coat.  As you can see i made a template to airbrush the squiggles and camo pattern.  This bird has many 1sts for me.  I puttyed for the first time.  I assembled the bird first then painted for the 1st time, and it will be the 1st time i airbrush camo patterns.  Whew that's alot of 1sts.  As always the camera's not the best but you get the idea

Things could be worse. Suppose your errors were counted and published every day, like those of a baseball player. Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off... the right pitch will come, but when it does, be prepared to run the bases.

In an effort to keep the progress dogs from lifting their leg on my P-51A, here are the latest prog pics.  Wings and horz. stabs are on, interior completed (added scratchbuilt seatbelts, but I'm not too happy with them) and wing seams puttied/sanded.  Started adding brake lines to the landing gear also.  Enjoy!
