Well, I'm back home and NOT ON DIAL-UP! Wow- you truly don't appreciate high-speed lines until you spend a week on dial-up.

All the builds ar elokking great! I hope to start mine pretty quick. I need to finish up my Yak-1, and then I'm gonna jump in on my Spitfire IX.

Hey Ed- one thing that might help with the pictures is take the camera outta the bubble wrap..... LOL! Wink [;)]

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]back!! as ya can see, we were pretty busy & hardly even knew ya was gone!!Wink [;)]

And hey, if I take the bubble wrap off the camera, what'll happen if it should make a Kamikasi run towards the floor??! The bubble wrap as you call it is actually the airbag system for it!! Whistling [:-^]

Oh, that's easy! Just coat all your floors in bubble wrap! You have to walk kinda gentle, but if you drop the camera, no problems! Big Smile [:D]

Camera with airbags- now there's an idea!

Rob, What happen to the Alclad? I've never had it rub off no matter what I've sprayed it over.

Ok, so here is my finished build for the SSGB. Sidure sent me this 262 along with a Hawker Typhoon which I'm going to use here in this GB (later) and also in the Revell/Monogram GB.

My first 262 and a welcome addition to the display case. The kit went together well.

The kit is built OOB. Paint is a combo of MM enamels and Tamiya acryls. Weather is MIG oils.

The only addition I made to the kit were the red "D" rings in the engine intakes.

A pleasant build, this one is gonna look awesome in the case next to the rest of my German AC!

hehehe.

With all the "what I did in 2006" posts going on I decided to count mine today. Counting a four month Arizona build I built 23 kits this year. I can go like crazy right now because I'm on break. Next week it's back to work.
