Troy, very nice work on the 262 and especially in as short of a time as you did it! I hope my bird comes out half as good. I nominate you for the "Speedy Gonzales" award.

Hey Guys,My 2 cents [2c]

Wow Troy nice...and fast too!! I too am building a Me262. My gift was a Tamiya Me262 A-2a and yes I started on it tonight! I've got all the parts washed up, dried, and the first coat of paint on the office.
I also have the Revell in my stash. Now I will have an A-1a and an A2a. The Tamiya looks like a great highly detailed kit. I really look forward to building it. But I'm afraid I will not be breaking any records in doing so.

I have never used the alcad.  Does it go on so light that you have to use the whole bottle?  Either way, the work is looking nice, very nice Cool [8D]  I got to finally start on my P-400.  Nice Hasagawa kit.  It almost builds itself out-of-the-box.

Will try to post photos later in the week.  I am going to not be home much this week Angry [:(!] since my wife & I are 'babysitting' a nephew & neice this week.  I will have to 'get my glue fix' thru eveyone's posts. Disapprove [V]

I was actually able to get to the bench over the weekend.  SHOCK!  This kit is going together very well.  I was nervous about a 4 part office but didn't have any issues when i went to glue it.  I also got the fuselage glued and the wings assembled but didn't take pics yet because of all the tape.  I will have to use putty for the 1st time on the bottom of the plane tho.  1/16 gap for about 3 inches.  Gonna be fun.  WIll post more pics as i progress.  I cannot wait until i get my new camera.  That wasy the closeups will actually look like something and not just a big blob of something

Great progress Rob.  And a beautiful 262 HK.

I have the basic airframe together on the Boeing.  But I need a bigger tube of putty and I can melt down all the flash I have removed another plane.  OK so I am exagerating a littleWhistling [:-^] but no shake and bake here.  I will keep at it and post some progress when I can.

Wow there is definitively something going on here!

"My Baby" is coming along really nicely, Mist086! It's gratifying to see the effort you put in this model. And the result of this effort is looking great.

Really like how your Mustang is proceeding smokinguns3 ! Your Alclad-work turned out great.

I'm completing a P-51D in 1/72 (as I mentioned before) which I covered with kitchen foil (discussed that with Dubau moths ago) and I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
During the process of "foiling" I really was tempted switching to Alclad2 but then I managed to finish with the foil.

As for my "Panzerknacker" ... still waiting for the PE set!!! Company is closed until January 8th for inventory !!!Angry [:(!]

Hey Mist... sorry but just noticed you posted some progress at the same time I was posting a couple of days ago... Looks good so far.

Some progress for the Boeing. I spent the day with the leg propped up and a heating pad taped to my calf and sanded, and sanded, and sanded...

A lot of firsts here. First civilian a/c, first raised panel line model, first time using THAT much puttyWink [;)].  Not really that bad but as I said, no shake and bake here.  Coming together pretty well though I think.  Oh Yeah... and it will be a first "wheels up" model on a stand.

Second pics shows that they are NOT seat cushionsWink [;)]

Smokinguns, Mist and Wing_Nut those are some great looking builds already. Smokinguns I really like the NMF you have achieved, very, very nice. Mist you are off to a good start with the PE. Marc, the Boeing looks great, even if there are seat cushions in the windows - sorry I couldn't resist.

Bud, Eric,Ed and Troy thank you for the kind words. This really isnt a bad little kit  minus the ejection pin marks and the cofusing instrutions. But its all fun.
