OK, with all that "find-an-excuse-to-open-the-gift-earlyier" thing I got a little confused
... today is the 23rd
... oops, see what I'm talking about
... I meant: today is the 13th so it's 12 days to Christmas (25th) and 11 to Christmas-Eve (24th)
... did I get that right?!

11 Days to Christmas I can count my bottles of paint and arrange all my brushes! I can clean up my spares box, and dust my work bench.

Cheers,

Eric

Got this idea from my daughter.  Her teacher is having the class 'rewrite' the 12 Days of Christmas.  Instead of gifts, the kids are to thinking of something for each day of the week that they can do to 'pass the time'  So, here it goes....  I'll start with 12 days to go; hopefully others can add to this and make this fun.... Evil [}:)]

With 12 Days till Christmas; to avoid looking at that gift under the tree; I remember the shopping that I must do.  Do you think the wife would like the B-17 in 1/48th scale or 1/72nd scale?  I think my daughter would love that Hasagawa kit of that A-10! Whistling [:-^]

With 11 Days till Christmas;

YO Sturzkampf,

Do you have a paypal account?  If so, I will pitch in a couple of bucks to help in your shipping if it is still to much.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I am so sorry- I had not even thought of Channukah when I did the rules of the GB!

Please- if you celebrate Channukah, or any other tradition, and not Christmas- please adjust the rules to your personal celebrations.

Unless there are objections, I think it would be neat to wait to post photos until the 25th (or later) though.

Again- please don't let my ignorance interupt your holiday celebrations!

(Now- before anyone asks, Festivus DOES NOT count....... nor does celebrating the fact that it's Tuesday, or a blue Volkswagon went by, or the fact that you had meatloaf for dinner..... Wink [;)]

What is important is the friendships, the fun and the excitement! Thanks so much to all!

Oh golly, my little joke has grown a bit...

Well, even if you were joking, you make a good point. Celebrate when the celebratin' is good! LOL

And tool sales at Sears have not been declared an official holiday yet.... so that one is a no-go. Sorry. Smile [:)]
