Hey Guy's, well I finally got back from my holidays and all I can say is wow to all the progress. I will have to put in some overtime to get caught back up with all that is going on. That will be a little hard as my SS gift was a C-47 from GulfstreamV. Really great kit but going to take a lot of work. I am looking forward to building this one.

There is a lot of great things that can be done with this one. Thanks GV.

I'd like to get started...... man......

Work has been killing me. I get home and all I wanna do is just fall asleep. I need something to take my mind off of it.....

Maybe I'll build a model! Doh!

I havne't been on for awhile because of work.  Plus i really am scared about having to use putty for the first time on this bird.  Shock [:O]  The seams are on the top behind the pit, and the bottom in the same area.  My hands are already shaking because i just baught some Squadron white putty and it's laughing at me

if it laughs at you, just hit it, but make sure it doesnt aim to a model and/or its opened.

my yak-3 is going very well. has an excellent fit, good detail and its very easy to brushpaint. now im waiting the brown cammo's part dries. here i have the pics of the cockpit. for my standards, its a really very good job.

Got the seams puttyed, but ran outta time to sand.  YeeHaw sanding party tonight.  I told this in another thread but thought you'd like to hear it also. Was gonna take some pics, but when i went to use the camera it started smoking on me.  Fried circuits because my 3 yr old twin boys decided to use it as an underwater camera.  I was ticked at first til i remembered some of the stuff i did at that age.  Then it was rather funny to think about.

In an effort to keep the progress dogs from lifting their leg on my P-51A, here are the latest prog pics.  Wings and horz. stabs are on, interior completed (added scratchbuilt seatbelts, but I'm not too happy with them) and wing seams puttied/sanded.  Started adding brake lines to the landing gear also.  Enjoy!

Things could be worse. Suppose your errors were counted and published every day, like those of a baseball player. Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off... the right pitch will come, but when it does, be prepared to run the bases.
