Ya know, technically there is only 1 other active GB with more pages than ours.  Unfortunately, given their predisposition to spout endlessly off-topic about rum, crumpets, waitresses, and everything else with the occasional on-topic build thrown in Big Smile [:D] (in Brit speak no less by mostly non-BritsDead [xx(]), we may have trouble catching up to them.

Goofy bunch in that GB, but they do appear to have fun in their own way.

Anyhoo, another post closer to page 100!

Given how much you're pushing one particular build, I'll help you out....by going out of my way to pick something else Evil [}:)]  Of course, maybe that's what you want....hmm, I see your game.

Too bad I can't pick something from someone else's pile for your pick Big Smile [:D]  Man, that would kick this GB idea in a whole different direction.  Like combining the Secret Santa GB with the IMS GB.  Ugh, what a logistical nightmare Banged Head [banghead]

The decals keep silvering and the cat won't stay still long enough to shave her. The cat seems to have developed a nasty rash from the Microsol. I think I will have to put her back in the stash until it cures fully.

Tony I like your persistance in the quest for the turttle award however since your cat has some model bits in it I suggest you put some decals on it and present it as a sister build to the Fireball.  You could call it FurrballBig Smile [:D]    Sorry it's Friday and it looks like a loooong day.

Mist the B-25 looks good

Lord Kenny looking fwd to more pics

Cheers

Should be ok kenny.  The flight deck on the carriers are gritty.  They hurt when you fall on them.  I know, i was knocked on my butt by a Prowler jet blast.  Talk about road rash

What I haven't had the chance to find out is how many aircraft are in a squadron.  I can't dork around too much at work Big Smile [:D]

Regardless, if the kit comes with 24 then I don't think any of us would expect you to do more than that.  Just my My 2 cents [2c]

Speak for yourself arki!!  Kenny's the one who mentioned (bragged?  boasted? Wink [;)]) having 48 aircraft - I wanna see all those little buggers crammed on that flight deck.  Best get paintin' oh Exalted One Bow [bow]Evil [}:)]

As I recall (and without going back and looking at your pics) the hanger bay doors on this kit are down?

Ah ha, found it!

http://www.navybuddies.com/cvn/cvw.htm

Clearly you do not have a full air wing in the set.  But that makes sense because you'd be hard pressed to display them all anyway.  Likely the 24 aircraft set is a sampling of what was aboard for the particular time frame of the kit.

EH HUM! Did you forget something??!!!Whistling [:-^]

The Fireball will NEVER be officially complete unless I strap it on the back of my part-eating cat (and I won't) so remember per my discussion the award is MINE it has been renamed "THE TONY GREGORY MEMORIAL TURTLE HONORARIUM"    GOT IT??!!

BTW great progress on the builds which you will COMPLETE!
