Good looking build, Mist!

At the moment Kenny may have the edge, but....isn't there a bunch of 1/350 aircraft that come with Enterprise kit? Evil [}:)]  I could be wrong, but if so I believe those would also have to be completed in order for our leader to be called "done."  he he.

Building Now:

1/48 Academy Bf-109G6 - 100%

1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A - 5%

Upcoming:

1/48 Revell F-14D

More progess.  This bird is almost ready for paint.  I love this revell kit becasue there are 2 diff versions you can do and they give you 2 sets of canopies.  SO i'm using 1 set to paint so i don't have to mask the interiors.

I didn't like the kit decals so i'm making my own to this version:

Kenny, great looking progress on the ship, I've been watching this Gb for a while and great work all. I would have liked to see your wifes face when you pulled this one out of the stash. Where are you going to put it when finished.

I think Revell has a 1/72 Mig-31.  It might be worth a look.

Then there is the 1/48 resin job from Collectaire.  ~$150 i think.
Must be nice :)

IL2, great job on the ICM kit. I agree with you that bad kits make better builders. Your finished product puts a Tamiya kit to shame. On the other hand I am building an Academy kit for another GB (Spitfire) and it is a great kit. If I was not such a slow builder it could have been a weekend kit. Very little seam filling.

Lord KennyBow [bow], I am trying my best to find a good mix of kits for the 15 to choose from. You make decisions soo hardConfused [%-)]. It was a no brainer when I could just have everyone else make the decision for me. Now I have to think for myself (OW !! my brain hurts!!Dead [xx(]) I will have many styles and sizes to choose from; vote early and vote often. (THUD) (THUD) (THUD)

Good progress with the ship that ate your son.

Hey Kenny,

I like the website.  Nice idea.  I'll definately check in there regularly (bookmarking it with my favorites as we speak).  One question - at this point, is it OK that I can only see Wing_nuts build?  I figured you just did not have time to post any others - but I wanted to be sure that there was not some sort of problem.

One final thing - I've been thinkin' (should have been buildin' instead, but what can you do...?Evil [}:)]) and I think I know what we need.  I think you need to talk to IL-2 and see if he can't set up one of those countdown clocks things - like what you might see over on ESPN.com counting down to the next big game or the ones they have before the election or the New Year.  It could give us the days, hours, minutes, and seconds that we have left to complete this GB.  For those of us who might be.... concerned... with such issues as time...  Maybe it could be a banner that sat atop each page of the post or something...  So every flippin' time we checked into the GB it would be there, reminding us, taunting us, haunting our dreams... or whatever...

That's what I think...Blush [:I]

Nice Mig-31 IL2. Well done on a hard build.

Had a look at the site Kenny, looks good - looking forward to seeing all the content in there.
