First of all, thanks to Kenny & IL2 for all of your hard work on this GB, there's no way I could've done what you guys did; I'm sorry I didn't get my vote(s) in on time but, like I said, I just got back into town on Tuesday, so I didn't have much time to make a decision(s).

Be that as it may, it figures you guys would pick probably the most difficult model in my stash! The model itself isn't all that difficult, it's the decals I'm not looking forward to. But I'm still looking forward to building it; it's been in my stash for about five years now & I look at it every time I sit down at my model bench.

TGregory,  Quagmyre built one of these in the First Jets GB that you might want to take a look at.  The GB is still on page 2 or 3 of the GB page.  The finished build is on page 11, not sure if it is the same kit (how many can there be of such a wierd subject... ?) but it might be helpful.

mph, there is a link on the top of the GB page to a guy that offers to do them for you.  Not sure if he is still doing them or not but you can check it out.

Check out the Canadian and German AF.  They tended to have some great schemes for their 104's.

Resin is alot different, that's for sure.  You'll probably have to
do alot of sanding because often they do no cut well.  It's
a more brittle material.

This is important: NEVER SAND WITHOUT VENTILATION!
I have read that resin dust is a dangerous irritant when inhaled.

Lastly, let me know if you need tips with the vacu-form canopy.
I'm still developing my techniques on these, but I have had a
little bit of practice by now.

Sweet!

Some of these kits are going to take a year to build (USS Enterprise, Kenny!) at least.

Very cool to see everyone's picks.  This is certainly one of the more varied GB's on FSM.  Everything from cars to planes to ships to tanks to guns, etc. etc.

Building Now:

1/48 Academy Bf-109G6 - 100%

1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A - 5%

Upcoming:

1/48 Revell F-14D

It was a good bit of work, no doubt about it.  More than I
expected, but that's because the group size doubled after
I volunteered!  If we do this again next year I will find some
sort of automatic voting script to do the busy work.

Thanks for your thanks.  It makes it all worthwhile!
I am way excited to build a Mig-31!

AWESOME!!  Sir IL2, thanks for all your hard work!  (sorry for the whimpering thing, I'm over it now)

There are some great looking kits in that list and I am looking forward to seeing them all built.  It will take me the whole year though to do mine I think!  I'll be hard pressed to get that and the Lancaster (second highest vote) done in the same year.

it appears that you all will be building my stash for me!  LOL - j/k

I hope eveyone is excited to build what the group has chosen for them.

He could have been one of the few that voted and didn't tell me his name.

Let me take this opportunity to thank folks for sending their ballots in the

I'm tracking the votes for Painklr and Hook, although they are not yet on
