CAG, I noticed on the front page that my build for the NAW has not been posted.  I would like to do a 1/72 Tamiya F4U -1A

Also, sir if it's not too much trouble my FAA build was a 1/72 Vista offering and not 1/48 scale as posted.

I'll be swabbing the decks if you need me Sir!!!

My apologies Lt. It shall be rectified forthwith!!Captain [4:-)]

Hi Everyone,

Can I jump on board at this late stage please ? I am building a 1/72 Hellcat II in FAA overall midnight blue. I've got the thing together, but it's not painted yet. I've used the Academy kit, with some modified Verlinden resin bits for the cockpit and engine. I had to modify them to make them fit ! I've attached some photos. It's been a while since I've done a GB, but it's time I got back into it.

Don't let the image names fool you, I've changed my mind, it's going to be FAA, not Aeronavale.

Cheers

Tony Mollica

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

I just checked Alibris.com used book clearinghouse. They have 14 copies from $7 to $72....(don't know what their client is thinking of!)

I usually buy bottom line from them..........never have been disappointed and they ship fast!

They simply represent used book dealers trying to unload books!

Great resource!

Daniel, I have a few of those books but not the one on the Kingfisher.  I like them.  If it's the only one you can find I would say go ahead and get it.

Ahoy salty seadogs! I'm still here and hoping to get some work done over break. Still waiting on Avenger pictures. I'm starting a Kingfisher which still fits in this GB, but I have some questions about it. Are the Squadron "In action" books worth it? its hard to find Kingfisher refs on the net. I especially need info about flap positions when the Kingfisher was taxiing in the water. would the squadron book about the os2u be any help do you think?

Seems Dee was so struck by the fact that the secret Santa included her that she went nuts wrapping and decorating and even put on a Santa hat.

The best part of the day was it completely interupted my daughter and her boyfriend. You can see how happy it made her!

The Burl Ive's singing Holly Jolly Christmas was just too cool!  My thanks to who ever you are! Your a real Bud!
