That's fine Dave! Money is always tight especially this time of year! But uou don't have to decide right this moment! The offer is  good as long as I can get it!

I need to be more like Billy Mayes! This can be yours for only 3 low payments! AND that's not all! If you act now, we will include a slightly used bandaid a $50 value! for no extra charge!

Just lay back and smell the fresh opened box of cardboard and plastic fumes! Imagine yourself in the bathtub. This 52inch beast protecting you from all harm and would be sea monsters! Targeting rubber ducky at 11 o'clock!

You deserve this Dave! It has your name written all over it! I shall call on you again tommorrow when your ready to show the world how committed you are to this hobby!

 ( now that's pushing styrene!)

Man if I could be as smooth with the ladies! Make a Toast [#toast]

Nice one Frank!!! Laugh [(-D]

Aaron, you styrene pusher you!!! Grumpy [|(]  Unfortunately the Candadian dollar has tanked based on the falling oil prices and the $40 really means $50 to me plus the shipping.  It's tempting but I'll pass for now.  I still have the Uboat in the stash anyway (but then so do you)!

You are getting a cave girl outfit for Christmas! Already told ya that!

You all certainly seem to enjoy each other. That's great! Had a girlfriend that had a giant Macaw in her bedroom. One evening while I was over it ate the entire casing off of a window, from his perch. I didn't stick around.

The Snake however has grown and is on mean sob! It's a corn snake very colorful. Thin and about 5 foot long now! Very good if you had a barn. (which I don't)

I noticed she used the word "YET".  I'd take that as a very positive sign Aaron. Wink [;)]  In the meantime if you need somewhere to store those very large 1/72 submarines I've got room for them. Big Smile [:D]

November 11th..... You're referring to the closing shots of WWI by British Artillery?

That date sticks out in my mind as familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Warmest regards,

Roger

Aaron I know the frustration and jubilation you feel at finally getting your other engine! Prolly the same way I felt when I finally got my other PE bits for the 'bag after roughly 6 @$$@%$%! months. By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a 1/72 Hasegawa Ki-61 Tony in there would ye?Wink [;)]

Hmmmm that falls into the other catagory as built and in pieces from 1989 t0 1991 time frame. If it is the same kit you are thinking of.  It is the KI-100 that had a metal seat and landing gear. It also came with another sprue that had the regular Ki 61 fuselage in it. You could build it either way.

That is really far out as my 1/72 scale kits are limited. I build what I did as a child scale wise so I stick mostly to 1/48. Thanks Monogram and Shepard Payne!  I do have a lot of 1/72 planes in the do something with pile from years ago like that.

I remember the Ki-61 distinctly because it was in the store for like $30 plus bucks. I looked at it everytime I went into the store mostly because I couldn't believe a 1/72 scale teeny little plane was $30. Neither could anyone else apparently it never sold so the store owner sold it to me for $5 convinced that it was a pricing error.

If you would like I will search for the remains and see if I have anything salvageable. Might be fixable. I built it as the Ki100 so if I can find the Ki61 sprue may be a possibility! Your Corsair needs a mate!  That's all asumming it isn't in production anymore.

Roger I was a real life gun bunny what can I say?
