Thanks a lot fellows! You posted George Clooneys pic so much I had to go pretend to be him?!?! Whistling [:-^]Evil [}:)] I feel so violated..... Tongue [:P] What can I say, I'm a man of constant sorrow......

Of course the women in Clash of the Titans were hot too! Maybe it's time for a toga party!

My wife thinks that guy who plays the sex crazed doctor on Nip-Tuck would make a good James Bond. Says he has the look. Of course no-one beats the original! Bow [bow]

Been a nostalgic kinda night, ain't it? All from the live and let die post. ( and perhaps some spirits)Make a Toast [#toast]Pirate [oX)]

Ya, know what you mean Roy.  It's like comparing Timothy Dalton to Sean Connery.  No contest. Yuck [yuck]

I used to like Pierce Bronson until my wife dragged me kicking and screaming to Momma Mia.  I don't think I can ever watch him play James Bond with any credibility EVER again.  He gets a triple  Yuck [yuck]Yuck [yuck]Yuck [yuck]

Great work on the Corsair Pits Frank.  You're up to your usual standard.  Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

As for the tree photos I love them.  Took the wife out for a short hike in Cougar Canyon this morning to enjoy the fall air.  Love this time of year.

Great pictures, Frank! I'm actually surprised that you don't have any snow on the ground yet. I knew a guy from Wisconson, and he made it sound like you always had snow on the ground.....

I've got a really rookie question for the corsairs, if I may (and pardon my ignorance here). But I'm guessing that you are using Aftermarket upgrades in the cockpit? How is it that you get the really fine details on the IP? The guages don't look like decals, but I honestly couldn't see how it's humanly possible to get that fine a detail in a space that small. How did you do it?Confused [%-)]

Clearly I still have alot to learn.....

Wow Frank that is really beautiful scenery! I miss the colors in the fall as we don't get that down here. The Corsair twins are looking great!

Look out my front door the most scenery you get is the  lizard on the rubber tree plant.

At least it has cooled down to 76 now.

I spent the better part of today in the workshop working hard on my Corsairs.  I managed to finish up the cockpits on both, and must admit I am rather pleased with them.  I decided to try something a little different of them with the seatbelts.  Rather than have them laying neatly on the seat, I posed them throw over the sides of the seat to suggest either the pilot threw them off after landing, or perhaps the ground crew put them like that to ease getting in for the pilot.  Thought it might be easier to strap in with the belts off to the side instead of under his bum!  Either way, I like the way they look.  I also added a leather map case to the right console, and scratchbuilt a radar scope for the night fighter in lieu of a conventional gunsight.  I painted the interiors dull dark green and black, as these were the colors specified for these early Corsairs.  Hope you like! Big Smile [:D]

Well, I did leave the house today to watch a beautiful sunset.  I didn't get any photos of the actual sunset, but did get a few of the trees in the evening colors.  Nothing quite like WI in the fall!  Enjoy! Big Smile [:D]

Well it is proving tougher to find that perfect gift for me. I was excited to be part of this gift exchange because we know a little about each other here. Didn't get out shopping today cuz I snoozed through most of the day but been browsin for that perfect gift!

Looking for something that has meaning yet is unique enough to represent the fellowship we share here. As I browse I still keep coming back to socks.....

Maybe a can of Simonize! I'd get a Red Ryder BB air rifle with the compass in the stock but the receipiant would most likely shoot his eye out.

Maybe they will like this valuable prize?

The old movies IMHO are way better than the remakes.  Ocean Eleven for example, never seen the remake and I don't think I will.  No one can beat the Rate PackCool [8D]  VERY COOL

Good for you Roy! I use mine to death! I really like it was like getting a new car!

However if you are going back to a time before plastic and perservatives in the starlets we must include the best movie ever made!

A true classic!

Raider put that away and go do your homework!

Dinosaurs are sweet! but Jurassic Park was just missing something. Can't quite put my finger on it? Confused [%-)]

CAG,

Wouldn't something from the Bond series be more appropriate?  Say, oh I don't know, maybe Live and Let Die?  As for me, my relations are in town and after a hearty breakfast, we're off to the frozen banks of the Trinity to watch the brave men in black of the Dallas Stars do battle with the marauding men in maroon from Denver--the eeevil Colorado Avalanche.  After that, luscious, fried golden brown Fletchers corn dogs await us at the Great State Fair of Texas (no singing please--or else).  Perhaps I can find this year's specialty--the fried banana split.  In answer to your question we fry everything at the State Fair, last year someone managed to fry Coke.
