Down around the bottom of page 1, this won't do for the finest group around.  Looks like Razor is gearing up for a Weekend shindig, date and time to be announced later.  The right honorable Billy Bondo, Sean and I have already enlisted.  You gonna try for 3 this year Mac?  Ruddratt, see the shanghai crew found you, welcome back.

Things are moving on slowly with the Hawk as I have been working away from home for nine long days and I need to spend some time with my son, we are off for a day out together to have some much missed Father and Son time, I will be back at the bench soon enough hopefully with some progress pics to share with all of you.

Now that my work bench is up and ready to roll perhaps I can get something finished....

I still have the Corsair from the first FAA GB  but it's primed and ready to go.

If you look at the second pic to the bottom right of the spray booth you can see the top (green) of the kegged FAA Tango1 porter I brewed.  If anyone stops by I will share a pint with you

I was thinking of the light but I hate/refus to use those pig tail lights or any kind of fluorescent bulb.  I use a low watt Reveal bulb.  Do you use the trash can for used Q-tips and what?  If so that sounds like a great idea, get one of those small ones.  I will also try the matt deal.

I dig those CFL bulbs that Bondo mentioned. I use two honkin' 42 watters (150W equivalents) made by Philips, with a color temp. of 6500K - closest thing to true daylight that you can mount into a socket. Won't even consider using anything else.

Awesome set up Roy.  I know of a certain weekend group build coming up in mid-November that would be perfect for breaking in that new work bench! 

I hear Frank is going to try to do a B-17G in 48 hours for it!!!

Mike, I have my Corsair from the first FAA GB primed and ready for the next step, BTW it has the resin cockpit you gave me installed

Dave, did you ever get the email I sent back to you?  As for your Nov GB, I have to waite and see when my school date is.  If I'm around I will most likely try Minicrafts 1/144 American Airlines DC-4. 

 Wow Roy that setup almost looks too cool and clean to mess up with a project! Almost!

Aaron & Richie, thanks for the kind words.  Alex, my 5 year old boy, has taken over the work area.  He's working on the Revell 1/48 P-40B.  He wants to paint the wings red and blue  The pilot he has done in blue.  I have made suggestions but it's his build.  I do the glueing and some other things but it's as his.  I'll post some pics if  any one wants to see his work.

Also I was thinking about our FAA Christmas gift exchange this year.  If you guys want to do it again.  Let me know and I will work out the details.

Of course we want to see pics Roy!!! Alex is doing the #1 thing alot of us forget about but need to ge back to often, HAVING FUN!!!

I will be the first to say, 'OH YEAH', for the gift exchange!!! Was great last year mate!!!
