This GB has always been a personal favorite.  Good times, great friends, stunning models and lots of girls and rum.  What more could a fellow ask for?

Update:

I have painted the canopy seals on the Hawk................its a PIA to mask off, instead of one black lump of canopy I now have a big white lump of canopy.......

I just hope it all OK when the tape comes off.....................

I had a look throught my stash last night for another FAA project, still can't decide. I'm leaning towards the Firefly at the moment.........................

 Sept is my ship month CAG! Took a quick break from the aircraft to work on a ship with Sean we are having a bit o fun with what started as a quick practice build to sharpen our skills for more elaborate things. LOL Been at it all month LOL!

Capt Bondo tricked me again and told me there was a cheeseburger in the brig and when I went to get it, slammed the door and locked it behind me!  You would think I would learn by now. Everytime women folk get in the area I get locked up or sent on some secret mission to steal molasses from the locals! 

 Defected to the Italian side eh? I have been working once ahgain on my Tamiya Swordfish to finish them off . I have seen a number of the crew over at the 262 GB loitering about though!  Although somebody just posted some pretty girls at the RA GB as well!  Everytime I try to get close to them though I start hearing Godfather theme music and getting these offers I can't refuse. What exactly does it mean to get fitted for some concrete sneakers and going to visit that teamster boss?

Alright gang it's that time of year again, the Official Fleet Air Arm Christmas Gift Exchange.  This will be the third year that we have done this and if it's like the last two we should have a great time.  The rules are simple:

Must be a member of the FAA Group Build.

Be willing to commit to providing a gift from your stash or purchased to you gift exchange person.  Remember it's about the giving.

You will need to PM me your information that includes your mailing address, scale, era and genre of kit you would like.

The value of the gift will be left up to you.  Please remember that some members may be young people with limited income or such.  Again it's about giving and friendship.

The deadline will be 20 October 2009.

Gifts should be  mailed no later than the 20^th of  November.

Please PM when you sent the gift off and when you received the gift.

I know we all want to open them but please wait until Christmas Eve or Day.

Also keep you exchange to yourself until Christmas.

On Christmas we should all try and post pictures of what we received.

For those wishing I will have a mailing list for any who wish to send cards.  PM with your email and I'll get those to you.  It will be in MS Office form.

If I missed something or you have questions or concerns please PM.
