Sorry I haven't been posting much on here lately but I've been following along with everyone's progress and there is some nice stuff happening!

I have managed to make some progress on the Finemolds 1/72 Me 410 that Bud sent to me.  It's a really nice kit but it's not one that falls together on its own so it's taken awhile to get to this point.  Here it is all painted up and I hope to get the decals on it Thursday night after a future coat tomorrow night.  Props and spinners are not glued on yet.  Don't ya just love that bulged canopy , masking it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be but gluing the three pieces together was another story.

Thanks for the complimets JMart and Steve, but there's acually nothing special to it. Primed with black enamel, painted with acrylic black and drybrushed with acrylic green-grey.

The piece is a photoetched part with a printed clear film to simulate the dials.

Very nice IP and cockpit interior Klaus. The Ip turned out very nice. Any tips on your method.

 I know it's been a while but I have been working on the great kit Max got me for Christmas. It's a great kit and it is going together quite well. No major pitfalls. Here my latest progress.

I must apologize to everyone for not checking in more.... I've got so many things going on with my site, work, etc., I'm spread awful thin now. (Good thing I'm thick enough to spread.... LOL)

I weathered the interior and the engine and added some black detail to the interior. Will post just one pic in the next days since the progress was really very small.

Awesome work so far everyone!

I finally got some more done on the SBD-3. My last pics were of the pit. It's come a long way since then (sorry for the lack of in-between pics). As it stands now, I finished painting the main colors today. I did it freehand, because I didn't want a hard edge on the demarcation line. This was my first shot at pre-shading, and I think it turned out pretty well on the topside, but it is barely noticeable on the bottom.(I'm calling it a success though!) Hopefully tomorrow I can get a coat of future on.

Here's the engine (don't worry, the cowl is only temporarily tacked in place!)I will be able to install it.

Mist086 - Nice paint job on the Val, home stretch indeed! I like the lines of that craft in an odd sort of way. Decals seems to have gone down smoth, look forward to the finished product!

nice progrees Avus.

Well, almost done with the Val.  Got to paint the wheels, and assemble the bombs and the hardware and slats.  I'm in the homestretch!!!!!.  Oh, i forgot about the canopy Yikes i gotta get to that.  That's gonna take forever.  Oh well on to the pics!!!

Nice progress Avus, looking good and will enjoy seeing this build come together.

Nice work guys. 

Haven't even started mine yet.  Trying to get my Avro Arrow completed.  The other one might sit (its not a plane, it has four wheels and no whirly thing, I stand corrected it has a radiator fan - Its my Dodge Super-Bee).

This GB is a blast.  Thanks to everyone .  Keep those photos rolling in.

Great work brain44; that NMF looks great. I did a Mustang years ago in NMF: it was a pain to do but the result is awarding.

Great progress Mist086, and thanks for the heads up.

 Eventually I managed to take evidence of my progress (bought a new camera, since the old one was broken):

As you can see the interior is painted but not weathered, yet.
In the end I chose Vallejo's grey-green for the interior; it's the same they suggest for German wheel bays.
