If you look at your vote list you will see what I mean about your choice. There is only one voter and he can only vote one time per kit therefore the worst case scenario is a three way tie for you. Then you choose the kit you want from the three in the tie.

Tony

I think what he meant was everyone should vote before building starts.

Yes, possibly.  It's also possible his votes may cause ties.

Cold as hell in Vernal tonight, huh RaptorDriver?  The weather news
said the high temp is zero, the low is -14! I'm up in Ogden, where it's
presently a comfy 10'F.  brrrrr Captain [4:-)]

RMV, I really LIKE the way you plan to have that boat mounted.
That is a very dramatic pose.

---

Well.. it looks like I'm destined to build the B-58 for sure.  LOL - if
there was only one kit in my stash that's a more challanging build
than last-year's Mig-31, I think this kit would be it!  You guys sure
like to abuse me!  Banged Head [banghead] LOL

Nahh.. joking aside, I'm really excited.  I was quite suprised, in fact.
The kit has raised panel lines which I swore to myself that I would
sand off and re-scribe.  We'll see about that... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]  It's 1/128th
scale, which should make finding decals interesting!

Here is a photo that I took of the kit several month ago.  This is the
kit holding itself completely together with no glue what-so-ever.
They don't make 'em like this anymore (circa 1989).

I am also awaiting the last vote as I am tied up with two kits and the last vote could make it three. This wait is killing me. Not sure which kit I want to win.

Fearless leader, since we are this close to having all votes accounted for well before the deadline, is it possible for you to PM JL and see if he can expedite his voting?

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] I'm with Arki on this one! Big Smile [:D]

JL can either definitively select my kit, or cause a LOVELY 2-way tie that I would feel highly obliged to honor by building both!

Well I'm off to Vancouver in a few minutes.  Looks like I still have two kits tied for first and I don't think one more vote will break the tie but I'll pick up paint for both just in case.  I might get a chance to check in but if not have a wonderful and safe New year everyone.

Kenny, gracias.

Razor, have a great trip and New Years!  You never know, that one vote could be the tie breaker.

I'm down to one of 2 kits, depending on the final vote.

I've just ordered canopy masks for both as I'll more than likely build both anyways - and canopies are my weak point, so I'll 'cheat' and use precut masks. I've got some PE for both as well, so that will be another first for me. First resin in last years build and first PE in this years.

Time to go take the snow blower for a walk Censored [censored] so we can get out the drive on Monday morning.

WOW!  The craziest thing just happened!  I checked the voting, and you know what?!  I get to build the 1/700 Gneisenau!  How did you guys know I really wanted to build that...?  Angel [angel]  Y'all are the greatest!

Oh, in case anyone is curious, that flu bug I had... seems to have cleared right up!  Party [party]

So any good suggestions for my first warship build in, oh about 25 years???

Hey bbrowniii...that Gneisenau...that isn't the 1/35 Tiger Initial Gneisenau, is it? Whistling [:-^]

Perhaps I should whip up a list of what's currently camped out in my closet? Wink [;)]

Let me know what you think - you said armor only, or are you into the a/c as well?

Armor, aircraft, ships...  I'll build any of it...

By the way, did I see you say that you were flipping through the January Squadron catalogue?  Man... I haven't gotten that yet Sad [:(]  Any good stuff in there?

PM me if you want to discuss a swap...Whistling [:-^]Party [party]

I did mention the Squadron catalog...a few decent deals, mostly if you're into cars, though. Didn't look like they even HAD a sale section for ships. Sorry. Ashamed [*^_^*]

Let me go through the stash list, I'll have to pull out the things that I've already committed to other GB's etc., and I'll get it over to you sometime - hopefully tonight! Wink [;)]

EDIT - you've got a PM...hope the excel formatting is readable! If not, shoot me your email, I can send it over that way. Big Smile [:D]
